    I m not even hypebeast but i know that the concept back this Adidas 4D Futurecraft is a big deal when it comes to shoes manufacturing, let alone the 4D sole concept. As a channel of trend, fashion and sneaker I m surprised most of these people seem to be clueless about the shoe. Make me wonder if not this channel is a bust lol.

      No one said it was revolutionary. People are excited to get a nostalgic shoe they couldn’t afford or sold out fast.

      In the end the consumers like you are fooled over something you wear on your feet lol. Their marketing sure does work doesn't it.

    • @Andrey-pw5fm
      @Andrey-pw5fm 7 лет назад

      SquidStone how are people getting fooled? They don’t advertise any gimmicks on retros anymore cause it’s a nostalgic shoe people want. The only people fooling is resellers. They take advantage of the limited quantities and people have to wait till they retro again, which is a long wait. Which is why people get excited. Cause they want a shoe they couldn’t afford.

      it really doesn't cost anywhere near that much to 3D print something like that. I work with 3D and 4D printers and we buy giant spools of material to print and they cost dirt cheap. I get that shoe prices are jacked up because money needs to be made. but, If you're paying anything over 150 you're getting robbed

    It's basically an early adopter product, they'll be way cheaper in the future. At this point, their price is so exorbant because of how few models have been produced. The current resale values will plummet once these hit full production

    • @Hyphaen
      @Hyphaen 7 лет назад

      Aidan B the resale value will plummet but there still will be resell value on the v1 probably about 200-300 more just because so many people like the shoe and it’s the sort of equivalent to Nike’s £700 shoe

So for years to come we should be expected to buy these shoes at an insane price just because it took them a few years to develop even though the materials are cheap? in my opinion, this is more of a dad shoe than the wave runners. They focus basically 90% on funcionality of the support / comfort of the shoe, which is important, but don't really think about the style element at all. Like honestly it looks like a shoe you find in the meijer clearance shoe rack of discarded adidas shoes that no one wanted but were still produced in mass quantities. It seems more like a dad shoe to me because it's focused more on comfort than anything else, which is exactly why dad shoes are so clunky and bulky and unattractive.

    They are super good looking, and as far as we know, more durable than any ultraboost sneaker. I totally dig them

    The biggest problem on most hyped adidas Sneakers is that their soles aren’t durable at all. If you wear a UB, V2, NMD, 750 every day for 6 months the sole will probably be beaten af. And if this wasn’t the case they would be way better. What I saw about the 4D sole makes me think that it won’t even last half a year every day wearing.

      Nuclear Megalodon on the other hand the upper will stay looking perfect, on Jordans they will be extremely creased and worn out

    • @Hyphaen
      @Hyphaen 7 лет назад

      The midsole doesn’t bottom out like boost and is extremely responsive strong and stable

    • @nuclearmegalodon7528
      @nuclearmegalodon7528 7 лет назад

      Dino I that is true but you are able to fix that if you iron them with a towel on the shoe, at least if seen some videos

    • @nuclearmegalodon7528
      @nuclearmegalodon7528 7 лет назад

      ECR yea but the „continental“ sole should be a lot stronger, they also make tires so they should kinda know how to make a lasting product. It’s just sad for everyone that wants to wear their heat (like me)

      @Hyphaen 7 лет назад

      Nuclear Megalodon yeah I know but in a business perspective, brands want peoples shoes to age quickly so they’ll come back to the company for more so I think this is probably more of a race day shoe in terms of running

    Completely pointless video. You’re asking people who have no interest in sneaker culture to tell you what they think of a resell price for the shoe.
    It’s exactly the same as someone bringing me a painting from some famous painter and saying “this painting is worth $45mil, do you believe the hype?”

      How could you know? Have you used both sneakers for more then a couple days of use? That’s really the only way to know if it’s comfortable and supportive, can’t feel a shoe through someone hyping it in a RUclips video man...

    There's so much to take into consideration when talking about these sneakers. Fucking 3d printed shoe using light, oxygen, air and heat. New and weird technology so no shit it's expensive, double it or triple it on the resale market.

  • @fabgsan

    The answer is yes believe the hype because its made out of literal trash and every molecule of the shoe is made to react to the movement of your feet

  • @ant5611

    3D print meant to be the cheaper technology to move forward. Companies dont have to pay $2000-$5000 for each shoe mould that requires 14-15 of them for every size. Yet they charge you this shoe forr $300 at retail price. So should we believe the Hype? FUCK THE HYPE.

  • @ElverGarico
    @ElverGarico 7 лет назад +6

    First things first I don’t need my shoes to be “fashion forward”. These are the same ppl hypying the god awful Dad shoes so foh. I wouldn’t pay resell only bc I feel like adidas would come out with more in the future. 300 max. Let these be yeezys tho and everyone is slobbin all over em. Pay me, complex. Fuck with me. Lol

    • @Oyashio202
      @Oyashio202 7 лет назад

      The ones released are really tech demo pairs imo. They plan to scan your feet for it to be a perfect fit. Getting one that's not true to your feet would only make the technology pointless.
