- This is a physics-based simulation of a virtual character performing one of three injury mitigation strategies in a falling elevator: standing up, lying down, or jumping up when falling from a 10 foot or 50 foot elevator.
Originally presented at the Motion in Games 2011 conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Seems like the timing of the jump is critical, but in practice, there probably is no visual cue to know when to jump.
