22:33 I thought of another way! Use chalk on a chalkboard or pavement and wash it away with water. For example, draw a sigil on your driveway for protection, then wash it away with a hose or let the rain wash it away you activate that energy and protect the house.

I personally use sea shells to represent the water element on my alter as I live on a coast about 5-10 minutes away from the beach and a river. Also instead of using a traditional cup, bowl or chalice to hold water you could use a sea shell to hold it instead

im very lucky that i live near a beach, usually i use washed-up shark teeth, fish bones, seashells, sand dollars, or a wooden dolphin figure i painted (the last one is only for deity work though)
I'm glad that someone uses sea shells to represent water because I was thinking of doing that myself so good to know that I can use that too
A tip for whoever wants to use herbs on ritual baths but is afraid of what their family will say: say you're using organic bath bombs. A lot of them do have little pieces of petals and herbs. It's always a good excuse (I speak from experience ;)
There is a beautiful darkness to the water element that is often feared and avoided by many people. In the last few years, I've been very drawn to dark waters, be it water poured in a dark bowl/cup or the surface of a lake at night. When I first started practicing, I was first drawn the fire element in the very beginning and then I went over to earth element, which I'm still drawn to from time to tome. But now water calls out to me more and I'm not scared to delve deeper into it's darker nature.

I am lucky that mother is a Witch, too. If I had left a glass of water sitting on my altar, she would have left it (or, asked me to transfer it to my chalice or cauldron so I could return the drinking glass to the kitchen.)
LUCKY i want my kids to grow up either pagan (or at least not judging others for their religon) and a witch (just because i want them to grow up that way doesnt mean im going to force them) and i dont want them to be homophobic
I just realized that I had been casting spells on myself using water when I was in primary school. I used to get emotionally hurt so frequently that I wished I had no emotions at all, so every day when I was in the shower, I’d write my prayer or sigil on the steamed mirror and wash it off. I only realized it recently and have been trying to lift my own curse because it’s been affecting my relationships.
This series could not have come at a better time. I literally just started to refresh my information on the elements. So these come in very handy. Thank you. I love your videos
pro tip for any witches near the ocean: a great way to manifest is write your petition or a sigil of your manifestation in the sand, preferably with something ocean related like a shark tooth or a sea shell, and then let the tide take it

You can use birthday candles to represent any element as well, especially the ones that come in packs of blue, red, yellow, and green.
I took river water and put it in my in home water fountain, so nice to know i have flowing river water in my home.

One way to use the toilet to banish something is to write what you want to banish, blend in the blender with salt and banishing herbs and the dispose this goo in the toilet and send it away

Hi Hearth, thank you so much for uploading so much content during these weird worrying times.
I have a large collection of rain waters stored in my witchy cupboard (all were collected in my back garden at varying times of day & night). Each bottle has the day of the week, month of the year, type of rain activity like storm, light shower, hail etc marked on it plus moon phase & various other important planetary activity (especially retrogrades). I find it really useful having a large variety of differently energised waters readily available for my magical practice.

Since I was 12 Baths have always been a Friday night relax mode. It was the one time I could be in a quiet space and just be. Now I do moon water and make my own bath milks yet still learning so much (note: no candles are ever used in bath time)

I have some snow water that I steeped cinnamon in for purifying tools and spaces.
I also have ground up seashells that I can use to put into spells or rituals.

Quick question: I’ve heard some descriptions of other elements, that include speed and persistence, for example earth moves slowly but tends to be solid and give lasting results, whereas fire is quick but often short lived. Can you (or anyone) lend some insight on these aspects of water (and air while we’re at it)? Thanks so much!
After watching this, I went for a walk to a River to sit on the rocks near the running water and I sat in quiet. Afterwards, I had a friendly encounter with a 🐸! Love ‘em!!!
I keep my Moon Water in a bottle with a ☠ schooner engraved on the front.
I also have a GREEN ornate bottle with a 4 🍃 🍀 on the top of the cork.
I made money spell water and store it in there. I USE it with baths and abundance spells.
So far, IT works!
All the relations to water you mentioned, is how I feel about water. It is the essence of us and if one looks at is the last part of us that is left after death because water transforms ( which in itself is magical and scientific) so to think of water from our body transforming, osmosing or returning back to the atmosphere would be the best way to explain the soul surviving death.
To me water is where real Magick begins as it is the one thing that surrounds us, is in us and as Mr Masaru Emoto prooved scientifically, that water absorbs energy and is probably the true connection to moving energy and sending out intentions.
I know you created this video years ago and just recently I had a chat with a fellow witch who feels as I do about water and it’s the tremendous power, I began looking for other witches that have seen or incorporated through magick and studies with the inclusion of this most magickal powerful and completely connected element. I started working with water magick to heal and embrace my femininity and ugh. I'm not used to the "feelings." I'm very saturn ruled so I'm used to having colder less intense emotions. Even my sadness or depression is very emotionless. This type of sadness is....? I can't even explain it!

It's interesting that you bring up Poseidon and his affinity and guardianship over horses, because the earliest Greeks actually personify Poseidon very differently from the later Helenistic Greeks, and those later ideas are what we are more familiar with today. It would take a very long paragraph to explain it all in detail, and the metaphors that go into the ideas being personified through their associated deity, but it boils down to the way the early Mycenaean Greeks thought of the relationship between earth and death. These early Greeks put Poseidon as the lord of gods, not Zeus, specifically because of his ties to the earth, which gave him lordship likewise over death. It is very common to see sky gods as lords over death or the sky as a domain of the afterlife. But to the Greeks, death was the power of earth. Poseidon is called The Earth Shaker, and most attribute this today strictly to his power over the sea, which can cause earthquakes. This also circles back to the horses, which were considered his favorite animal because a great stampede of horses could feel like a small earthquake to people as they passed. But it is this power as an Earth Shaker which made Poseidon a chthonic god to the Mycenaeans, a god of death, a god of the world below, which likewise fits the ocean.
This is my area of study, which means I'm not qualified for any job except to leave long youtube comments. But I find the stuff pretty insightful. GREAT VIDEO!
I have a huge bottle filled with river water outside my window and I use one these dropper bottles (cleaned & cleansed) to take from it and then use in a spell. I just add drops of the water to whatever I need.

I write the name of someone that is bothering me on a small piece of paper and then I put it in an ice cube tray and freeze it therefore freezing their bothersome actions towards me

I disposed of a spell that I worked a long time ago.. I tore the paper up into small pieces ,took them to the bathroom & flushed them down the toilet.. writing on toilet paper may be a difficult thing to do

By the way, I had been associating purple to both fire and water, as it is a combination of red and blue. Amethyst has been my favorite crystal growing up too, and purple is my favorite color. normally if I go out to do a working which fortunately prepared some I still can I go to a nearby Creek please set the side for the water of course the Earth rip since the Earth sometimes I might pick a cool rock if I want a Pacific point of focus the air represents the air but sometimes again if I need a point of focus I will you some incense normally my parents it doesn't matter what they smell like and if I need fire I will take it to light or a small stainless steel Cup for candle wax and chunks of charcoal 2 light
