Hey is it possible to get some details about the design parameters, like the angle of the tooth and the spring constants for this design, coincidentally, I am designing a similar mechanism and need some help with hamd calculations. Hi thanks akash The total force is calculated through the sum of the forces of each spring. The force of each spring can also be calculated from the relation f=kx. where k is the stiffness coefficient of the spring and x is the displacement value, i.e. the height of the protrusions on the plate. To calculate the limited force, one must sum the friction force with the sine of the vertical force and then calculate the torque.
