What could be causing water to build up under the glass Turntable? I understand the Condensation thats on the inside of the roof that drips down onto the glass turntable but underneath has me baffled.

Yes, however they may get softer with age, so you may put your finger through it, so just take precautions when cleaning.

I bought some mica cover from Aliexpress, and cut out the same shape, but my question is does it have direction/side or side agnostic?

​@@lewisecwi02from my research it seems that it's directionless, putting there only to prevent food splashes. The wave can pass through in either directions.

Good for you. They are fitted for a reason and while not a safety reason will shorten the life of the oven.

Yes. Temporarily, if you cover the food. Its main purpose is to stop moisture and food splatterings getting into the 'workings' of the oven.
