@@paulaplantita8458 At least he got a decent send off... While some of the characters from House MD on the other hand(like Kutner and 13) weren't so lucky.
Yeah I'm glad that a lot of the characters at least got decent endings and didn't get killed off like in Grey's...compared to Dr Bekker. Hers was a mess.
@@maryammons3081 I guess its difficult because if one actor wants to leave but the other doesn't, then it would mean Tracy would be out of a job so they could leave together. I do think he could've got a less rushed exit though.

Man that was bittersweet. Let's not forget that Chicago Med was created from Will's cameos on PD like from Voight's from Chicago Fire. Seeing him leave is like damn he got this thing started and now he's moved on😢
I had to say it somewhere, but this isn't Will Halstead saying goodbye, is Nick. And Oliver Platt giving him that hug represents me all the way. You'll be missed, Dr. Halstead.
I'm gonna miss Will (and Ethan). He was reckless, but that also made him a real out-of-the-box thinker. Even if he was always risking his job or license, I think any ED should have at least one maverick like Will.
@@martakavaliauskaite4566 that is true and there wasn’t anything wrong with his character but I don’t like the romance aspect of the show where they all hook up together and nobody has a spouse lol
I’m so sad to see him go.😢 He was one of my favourite actors on the show. It sure won’t be the same without him. Wishing you the very best, Nick. I sure wish our healthcare system had more doctors like Dr. Halstead.
I am very glad to see him go like this. At first, I made my peace with him and Natalie being no more after she left at the beginning of season 7, and as I watched the next two seasons, I actually thought that either Stevie Hammer or Hannah Asher would've been better matches for Will. But the truth is I always felt like it should end with Nat and Will since that's how this whole series started in first place, and after hearing a couple mentions of Nat near the end of the season, it does sound clear that Will wanted to be with Nat deep down and Nat wanted the same thing with Will after hearing her say to him "I am never letting you go". I think we can happily say that Will made the right decision in moving to Seattle to be with Nat and that this time the two of them will forever be with each other.
Stevie was too wishy washy she led Will on and then ran back to her ex. Hannah became my favorite because she encouraged Will to be with Natalie I’m sure Hannah still had some deep care for Will due to their past relationship messy as it was but when she realized he only held a torch for Natalie she helped him discover his feelings she helped give him the push to go and be with Nat and Owen.
Chicago Med will never be the same without Dr Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss). He was was of the most likeable characters in the entire cast. He was always on the side of the underdog and he was willing to take risks for what he believed in. In fact, we have never known the show without him. I really hope that he will return at some stage, in even only in a cameo role.
The love between these two was very strong after everything they went through in the last couple years in the end they ended up back together. I was so happy for both of them.
I was so sad.. 😔 Loved Will’s passion for medicine and for doing what’s right !! Even though he had moments that were outside the lines of protocol and they got him in trouble with Goodwin, he was still a great character 😊 I am going to miss his handsome face and that red hair 🥰
I'm glad they let will and nat get together. Will had the worst luck in life and deserves to be happy! Will and Jay were the 2 best characters across the Chicago's

This was REALLY beautiful to me. They did a really good job with and on this. I don't want to see his character go but from the looks of things it is for the best.
Good episode but also incredibly sad too, seems like some of the originals are leaving from the Chicago series, casey (don’t know if he back permanently) severide, Jay Halstead and now his Brother Will Halstead.
I just wanted to appreciate actors who have left the show but come back for cameos inorder to give the fans what they deserve. I mean, Halstead leaving to be with Manning is great but what makes the scene better is that Torrey (Manning) came back and we actually saw them together rather than offscreen reunion. I hope Grey's anatomy learns from this.

Not sure how I feel with him leaving with Nat. I get that they have been shipped for the longest time. But Nat has treated Will so poorly and acted like a victim for so long
I'm still mystified that he left to be with Manning. Did I miss some kind of sudden cooling down of their tensions? (I only watch clips.) Because those two come across as highly toxic in their interactions.
He got the best ending along with April and Ethan. Rare to see good endings when characters leave in medical shows
Omg yes the worst one for me was Dr Melendez from the Good Doctor. WTH was that, nothing to warm me up to it. I didn't need that.
