As a Hispanic, I appreciate the efforts and opportunities that us of color have gotten over time. Though, in my time I have seen many people who have the opportunity to receive proper education not use it fully. Many students of color just don’t try within their schooling. This is something that comes down to their environment. A whole different issue. I have experienced hard ships and have not been financially gifted along with not the best area and I am still getting good grades and am now in college aiming to be a data analyst.
Speaking on Home Ownership, I personally know several people of colour that make far more than I do, and every time I mention a house up for sale in my neighborhood that they absolutely could afford they flat out refuse to even consider looking at it. The reasons are almost the same; don't want to do yard work or don't want a mortgage, or they simply prefer apartment living which has more to do with the fact a lot of the people I know tend to have multiple family members living in the same building. Calling everything racist or race biased is not giving the full picture of just what might be happening.
They are. This WAS such a great place. Sadly we didn't keep it that way. If our future relys on the kids of nowadays we are f'd!
I dedicate my 2 very long texts to my mother & father RIP LOIS ANN ROUTHIER (10-28-1934-5-6-1984) & PHILLIP A.ROUTHIER (9-17-1924-8-6-2001)

I.Q. and hard work are required to keep the standard of living high, with low taxes and good education system. All of that is in decline

I love this
Tom Lyden is a drama queen who is so biased you cannot rely on him for decent reports
