Cool, fun video and I loved how your bowl turned out! A couple of things, your machine is a 177C, I saw one manual for it on ebay. The handwheel is probably stuck with old oil. I have loosened them with some Tri-flow or good sewing machine oil and a blow dryer. It may take a few times and a couple of days to get it loose. The loose thread on the bottom is caused by the upper tension most often. Love your videos! New subscriber from Arizona, bowl maker and vintage machine hoarder.. Jonee

I was wondering about the petals. I wanted my added color to be more diagonal. (If I'm explaining it correctly) I guess I would cut then on an angle? Love this bowl, I'm a beginner
