This is so informative and you’re going to help mamas going through the process or nervous about it too, im sure!! I used to be an infant teacher and cared for many babies and toddlers who wore helmets and I’ve seen a lot of really great success with them, even though I’ve never experienced it as a parent. 💕💕💕 She’s doing great, and she’s lucky to have such a sweet mama to help her through it!! 💕
Awww thank you so much!! Yes I’m so proud of her, she’s doing so great, and I’m just so glad I can share our journey and help educate on this! We’re learning so much through the process & staying positive! Thanks for your support girl! 💗💗
Hi Summer Winter Mom I love your channel and I love your videos and I love your daughters: summer and winter they are so cute!!:)💕💕💗💞💞💞💞💞 I am on my spring break💕💕💕💕I hope winter’s Head gets better in shape I am so sorry that your first pediatrician said not to worry about it and she is wrong and not good at communicating and she lied to you and now you have a better pediatrician and she is so nice and I love that girl♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hey! Aww thank you so much! I so appreciate your support! 💖 We are very excited to see how it goes! Will look forward to sharing updates as she progresses! 😍
Thanks for sharing❤️ Sorry you had to wait so long. Our pediatrician said it'd go away too but I'm glad I still did my research and my son got his helmet! Trust your gut mommas, just push to do the consultation!!
Sorry to hear about all the frustrations you’ve had having to deal with all this 😣 but thank you so much for sharing about it and just your whole process regarding this. This is such great information that will help so many moms that are going through something similar 💕
This video is so great - and encouraging!!! It’s so rare that I’m finding a good video with someone starting late in the game with the helmet!! We are late to the game (12m) and we just started discussing this during our 1yr checkup. 🤦♀️
Thanks! & Yes! I was glad we did it, even though we should have started earlier. I’d say trust your mama-instincts and do what you feel is right for your little one! 🥰
I told my pediatrician since my baby was 2 months old. And every wellness check after that. They sent me to get Xrays at around 4 months and said everything looked normal 😕. I thought they were the only specialist for that. Now she is 10 months old and I finally got a consultation at Cranial technology where they should’ve sent me in the first place.
Yes. Ugh that’s so frustrating. That’s just like my experience. Well I am glad that you kept focusing on what’s best for your baby & were able to finally get the process started. It it makes you feel any better, our results were pretty good - even having starting at 13 months! Here’s a video of how her head shape results turned out when she was finished with it after 4 months! ruclips.net/video/KU7IxCuJoAg/видео.html
Could you tell me your daughters beginning index and final index numbers? My daughter starts her helmet next week at 14.5 months and she is considered moderate and you are the only one I have come across so far who started after 12 months. Our local neurosurgeon wouldnt even give her a chance after she told us my daughter was mild at 9 months and not to worry. We have to drive 4 hours (8 round trip) to cranial tech in another state. Her facial features have now changed and we were advised not to worry she was fine, it only got worse... Very frustrating... Just hoping we have the same success as your LO.
That’s so wild! Ours did start our on the “severe” category and when we finished was more “moderate”. While I am not sure what the final exact numbers were, I’m definitely glad we did it - even though we did it late. I am sure you’re doing the right thing by listening to your gut and mama instincts! 💗🙌
@@SummerWinterMom thank you! They say shes between moderate and severe but closer to moderate. I wish I listened to my gut sooner but they told us after 7 months the growth is the same and it didnt matter if we came at 9 months or now it 14 it would still be 3.5-4 months in the helmet. Just glad we are trying. ☺️
You should look up Craniosynostosis, I had two cranio babies, first had surgery and second hasn’t. If the suture lines are closed surgery should be highly recommended. Ct scans are needed to check.
Hi! We started late - around 13 months. Wish we would have started sooner but we still got positive results. Every baby is different but we felt it was still worth a try and are glad we did it 😊 hope this helps
She is so cute! Both are adorable. It’s great we have these Devices now to help our babies.
Aww thank you!! Yes it really is amazing what’s possible now days! 😍
