Nia's emotion was absolutely brilliant in this dance. She seemed genuinely hurt and upset, she really was thinking about Mrs. Miller.
Maybe cause shes the only miller that was ever nice to her

I just realized how they missed the opportunity of a Chloe Kalani Maddie trio. That would have been mind blowing.

What I don't understand is why Nia is still getting these wack solos when she dances so beautiful in pieces like this. I see endless untapped potential in her and its a shame aldc doesn't.
Abby wanted her to get better at the other dance styles, because she was already good at this style

I agree Nia was amazing in this. She did however already know the piece as she competed against Maddie for it for season 3 nationals. It’s a shame she didn’t get to do it as a solo. ✨
Why are people still complaining about maddie being in center! This was her national winning solo in season 3 and they just turned it into a group so of course maddie would be center. I believe all the girls need to be given a chance but if chloe won with amazing grace at nationals or anyone then no one would complain that they were front and center in this dance. It made sense for it to be maddie!

true, she cant help being the favorite. It's hard for her as well. yes she's not being beaten down as much as the other girls but she's watching her friends get beaten down and theres not much she can do. i know she helped kendall before they went on to do a duet. yes she has the lead a lot but thats not maddie picking herself, its abby! People cant hate on maddie for being the lead when its not her who picks who is the lead.
+summergoesraaawr honestly all this hype over maddie being the best is overrated, there are lots of amazing dancers out there and all the girls on the team could've been front and center, being a favorite doesn't make you the best, Abby just gives her better choreography, by the way: I'm not a Chloe fan so please don't jump at me

This is beautiful. I love the fact that they tuned a National winning maddie solo into a group dance dedicated to Mrs miller.
My eyes went STRAIGHT to Kalani ! I know this is Maddie's solo but Kalani should've been the lead in this dance , she was FLAWLESS !

Okay so i had to point out that at the end when the 4 girls laid down, kendall looked dead at the judges with her eyes wide while the other 3 looked at the floor with their eyes closed. It just made me cringe and it was all i could focus on.
I don't care that it didn't win or that Maddie was in the centre.. This was dedicated to Mrs Miller, Abby's sweet mother that is now watching upon us all. It is beautiful.

My only was problem was that I feel Nia should've worn purple, its just weird that Maddie was obviously the lead, but then Chloe being the only one in purple does take your eye to her. And white was definitely a color that should have shone on its own.

Chloe is so underrated she had great emotion look at her instead of Maddie and you’ll see also look at Nia sometime

This dance really touched my heart. Not only was this dance for Mrs Miller but I had a gran called grace that I cared for greatly. When she passed away I felt like part of me was missing. After she died my family and my grans husband both had a picture of her, a candle that was always lit and a stone that said amazing grace on it. We both placed it on our fireplaces and it is still there to this day. When I watched that episode I cried when they danced it. I felt like the dance was made for her, they danced it for her along with Mrs Miller. My gran will always be a part of me. She truly is an amazing grace.. 😔❤️

Kalanis grand jete at the beginning was exquisite.
Not trying to be mean but the top 4 dancers I think shined are kalani, chloe , maddie, and nia all of them were slawless but those 4 shined to me

Nia and Chloe were the one who I had my eyes on the whole time. They were outstanding.

Especially cuz I get Maddie was featured so her costume should have been slightly different, but she wasn't featured nearly enough to justify her costume being completely different from the other girls.

They probably didn't give them first because it was a solo for maddie, especially at the end when all the four girls on laying down and maddies turning.

My eyes were drawn to Chloe. Her feet, her technique and her facial expressions were beautiful. No offence to Maddie, and the 'Maddie' face, but it's the same face for every dance and it's not conveying the sadness that you were meant to feel from this dance and I'm not trying to compare them though I kind of am, but chloe was stunning

I am tired of every dance turning into a Maddie solo with back up dancers. That is not saying anything bad about Maddie because she is a good dancer but I just want to see all the girls shine not just watch Maddie week after week.

+Nancy Loyal I might sometimes agree with you, but since this was Maddie's special solo for nationals, it only makes sense for her to be featured. Sometimes, I think that she is the lead because Abby needs someone who can really tell a story with their face, and Maddie has that special ability. Other times, I do think that the other girls should be given a chance to be in the lead role too.
I wasn't just referring to this dance. I mean just about all the group dances.
Maddie does have the ability to tell a story but so does Mackenzie, and Nia. So she has Mackenzie for lyrical and Nia for other types. I also think that Kendell can portray musical theatre.

Woah...this really was executed beautifully. Maddie obviously shone in this dance as the lead and her facial expressions really captivated. I think all he girls did very well tho as there is a lot of pressure performing to the national anthem.
