What a fine grim tale was this. So remarkable and deeply sad yet powerful. All these years I had not known that Howard had written such. Well read sir.
Your reading is impeccable. This story is a great example of why REH is the best. His discriptions of things makes you feel and smell and truly experience the lives of his characters.
I reside in the small, rural town that Howard lived in. Seeing his manuscripts at our local library and seeing the house he lived in, his workspace and such, provides a neat insight into his mind and writings. If you are ever traveling through Texas and find yourself in the Abeline are, take the drive eastwards and visit his home/ "museum" and then hop over to the librabry to see the original manuscripts and take in the air that the father of Connan, and many other characters, inhaled during his life. Cross Plains has some other colorful characters living here.
I love you're readings they are pretty great and it's such a blessing to get these obscure stories up on RUclips. That being said PLEASE STOP USING AI images it really undermines the greatness of these videos
Hey, thanks for the feedback, especially about the AI images. I always try and use the original art from the publication of a book or story if possible. In this case, the magazine that this story was published in has never been scanned and is not available online right now, so I couldnt find the original art. AI art is an easy solution to the lack of artwork, but I can agree that it's not always the best quality and can sometimes look cheap (although to be honest I am pretty happy with the results sometimes as well). I'll take your feedback on board and look at some other options in the future. Thanks! And i'm glad you enjoyed the audiobook!
Howard is unequaled, and you do him justice! 👏👏👏

I don't get it, why do people care if people use AI art? Folks are adamant about it, I'm just trying to learn why with the question, not being a prick
I like the AI images.

I like the AI images also just because that’s this much more in any way possible on tales that are darned hard to find! Love your reading style!
This image of the night in the kilt, standing on a mountain of skulls, really undermined the story for me😂😂😂😂😂
