      Oh wow! 17 days?! that's incredible! How many islands do yall hit up on this cruise? We've been thinking of a hawaiian cruise, but donno if it's worth cruising vs. flying to a specific island...

    Hi there! Thank you for the video. Great information! Where did you get your Holland America Line Journeys blue book at the very end of your video. Please.

      Hey! thank you for watching! If I remember correctly, they leave it in each room on the last day of your trip, along with the sticker! 😃

      @@patsytan1327 I totally agree! I feel like it makes more sense to give in the beginning of the trip to get people excited!

    What month did you go

    • @jetlagjourney
      @jetlagjourney  11 месяцев назад

      We went in June last year! The summer months are definitely slightly more expensive for tickets, but the weather is much better (still can be pretty cold and puffy jacket weather). another benefit of going during the summer/peak time is that more touristy things are open. We flew into Alaska once around Sept/Oct, and many things were closed or done for the season! Have a fun trip :)

    Does anyone have any info on room 5001? It is at the front of the ship. Some reviews say there's a lot of noise from the crew access door outside this room. They also say the balcony is very windy.

    • @jetlagjourney
      @jetlagjourney  5 месяцев назад

      Hey! Hmm.. I'm not too sure about 5001 specifically.
      BUT there were definitely certain days where it didn't make much sense to be on our room's balcony - either because it's windy or too cold to comfortable stay out for long. That said, every day, we did some sort of activity at the outdoor public space (eg. running track up top, enjoying the view on the side of the boat, etc.)
      I do remember one specific night, the wind/waves were pretty intense, so employees blocked all doors to outdoor space. Nothing from our private balcony flew off though.
      Hope that helps with what to expect! Hope you have a great time!
