Your video reminded me of why I moved here 36 years ago. I sometimes take my home area for granted. Both my daughters left but returned and my eldest lives on the lane where the campsite is. She bought her little terrace because she loves the beach.
God that nice, some relatives of mine live and used to live in millom everytime I go haverigg its really lovely and the Tesco in millom is better than anywhere else

Stayed at Harbor Lights a couple of years ago. Fab site though wasn't as busy as now. I went up the Black Comb. You have to do it. Hoping to go back soon. Enjoy.
Thanks Andrew! The sun always helps, but we’ve been off grid lots with no sun and it’s fine for a few days. We use gas for cooking and heating the water. Also, Slaw always has a decent power bank that we can fall back on for charging phones if needs be 👍🏻
It is a beautiful area Andy, I live just round the corner from the embankment they visited in the first video, IMO the views can not be beaten, If you stand out the front of Herdwicks (beer drinking) you get one of the best views in the country, looking out over Millom towards the mountains of the lakes with Black Combe to the left and the southern fells to the right, It don't get much better on a sunny day
