That means so much to me. I am really soft-hearted, and I used to see that as a huge liability. When I stopped making videos, I figured I would need to be much less personal if I came back someday. But it's important to me to show my son that feelings are a strength and inform so many ways of knowing. And I've realized that the only way I can actually give comfort is if I come from an authentic and open place in my heart. So I just want to thank you, and really, everyone else here, for seeing the value in that and being supportive. All of my favourite things in one video! I volunteer at two ww2 air museums (B-17 specific) in England so MoTA has had a massive impact on visitor numbers. This might get lost in the thousand other joyous words, but your own "thank you" at the beginning... im far from family. trying to help these beautiful, under represented souls rebuild in the wake of a year old fire. some people are here for the check. Most are here to help because we dont know anything else. Maybe because in some of us, we carry intimate knowledge of loss or helplessness. Some of us caused the pain in our lives with anger and now we try to heal anything that can be. Whatever else some of my co workers or I may feel... On your very first ASMR video (animal shelter adoption), I wrote, "I don't know if you're taking requests but could you do a ASMR video as a waitress at a fancy restaurant? I really enjoy how waiters and waitresses are so knowledgeable about the menu and how they explain the ingredients of an entree. Your positive and glowing demeanor would be perfect for this. Plus not many ASMR artists on RUclips do this type of ASMR." And you replied, "Amazing idea! I will absolutely do this one. I love that too.

Wow awesome video. What made that bomb sight extra special was that it connected directly to the bombers traction control lines and essentially acted like a control stick for the entire bomber. With other bombers of the day the pilot would fly and the bombardier would have to hope everything lined up right using radios to communicate between them. But with this new bomb sight the bombardier actually flew the plane using the sight himself. You're after my heart with this video. I love aviation and history. I'd love more of these kind of videos. A fun video would be about all the whacky prototype and concept aircrafts they were cooking up back then.
Oh, I LOVE that idea for a video. I didn't know that about the bombsight! That's so cool. The Norden is fascinating to me--just its historiography alone is interesting. There was so much misinformation about its values and limitations and a lot of strategy in what was fed to be publicly understood about it. You seem like you have some real expertise! If I do get around to making another aviation video I might hit you up for some fact-checking if you'd ever feel like it!
@SpringbokASMR I'd be glad to help anytime. I'm by no means an expert, but I am a turbo prop mechanic with a passion for aviation and history. I must have read almost 100 books on the topic at this point and seen probably every documentary as well. Tried to become a naval aviator, but it wasn't in the card, so I got out after 4 years and started fixing planes (mostly little crop dusters) in Texas. Just holler if you need anything. And welcome back of course.

Thank you for returning, and it's really great to see that you still have that signature Spring positivity and empathy. I feel like it's pretty rare to see in day-to-day life, so it's such a rare comfort to have. If you ever decide to update us on your Stardew Valley farm, that would be amazing! I've probably watched those two videos more times than any other asmr video.
On your very first ASMR video (animal shelter adoption), I wrote, "I don't know if you're taking requests but could you do a ASMR video as a waitress at a fancy restaurant? I really enjoy how waiters and waitresses are so knowledgeable about the menu and how they explain the ingredients of an entree. Your positive and glowing demeanor would be perfect for this. Plus not many ASMR artists on RUclips do this type of ASMR." And you replied, "Amazing idea! I will absolutely do this one. I love that too.

Wow awesome video. What made that bomb sight extra special was that it connected directly to the bombers traction control lines and essentially acted like a control stick for the entire bomber.
With other bombers of the day the pilot would fly and the bombardier would have to hope everything lined up right using radios to communicate between them. But with this new bomb sight the bombardier actually flew the plane using the sight himself.
You're after my heart with this video. I love aviation and history. I'd love more of these kind of videos. A fun video would be about all the whacky prototype and concept aircrafts they were cooking up back then.
Oh, I LOVE that idea for a video. I didn't know that about the bombsight! That's so cool. The Norden is fascinating to me--just its historiography alone is interesting. There was so much misinformation about its values and limitations and a lot of strategy in what was fed to be publicly understood about it. You seem like you have some real expertise! If I do get around to making another aviation video I might hit you up for some fact-checking if you'd ever feel like it!
@SpringbokASMR I'd be glad to help anytime. I'm by no means an expert, but I am a turbo prop mechanic with a passion for aviation and history. I must have read almost 100 books on the topic at this point and seen probably every documentary as well. Tried to become a naval aviator, but it wasn't in the card, so I got out after 4 years and started fixing planes (mostly little crop dusters) in Texas. Just holler if you need anything. And welcome back of course.
