Are the rumors true that we’re running through the T in Nashville?

Regarding the “misplacement“ of people all over the field, having alternates, as the UGA Redcoat band member stated scattered all over in case they are placed into the pregame movements at a late date is the going trend for college bands. Good luck, William. Maybe you should know the “present trends” before being so critical. And if you are a “PRIDE” alumni, you should know better.

I was going to comment something like this but honestly I just record videos of them doing stuff and go to school here, I’m not an influencer

This is horrendously written drill - people out of place everywhere and forms that simply do not work. People are randomly scattered throughout what was once a perfect block formation. The sides of the U are stacked with two people but the T is not, and the U continues to have an inexplicable hole in the bottom. When the T opens in Down the Field, the top of it it stacked two deep and spills over the edges. The ridiculous and gimmicky Vols and USA spell outs continue when the former countermarch was visually imposing, orderly, and bad-ass. And I've never seen so many people miss Chart Two even on the first day of summer rehearsal. Keep the best 200 winds plus a handful of reliable alternates and throw the rest out. Musically, though Rocky Top has improved, choppiness continues throughout the performance. My optimism from last year's modest improvements is beginning to fail.

Can't speak for UT band as I didn't march there (UGA redcoat alum), but it looks like they are alternates who shadow another member so they can learn the drill too in case they are needed due to absence/injury.

Years pass and you still sourly comment on UT band videos like it’s your job. Get a life, man.

First off, this is their literal first practice in Neyland. Cut them some slack. The point of practice is to improve.
Also, a Pride alum should recognize that the people “randomly scattered” through the perfect block are alternates. That is painfully obvious.
