I want to give you my thanks and respect for helping me understand this move.. Because of your step by step tutorial, I am now able to put airfares into action.
bro ive seen many tutorials. by far you have the best explained and visual teachings. i was scared to jump on my other arm. but that low to the ground you suggested worked perfectly. im def gonna mention you for the one who helped me with the airflare peace man and keep it up!
1:25 "left leg goes up, right leg sweeps through" that's the most important part as it'll set you up to the pike position to throw
Alan Rai I
This is the video i watched as a kid to learn airflares in the past years ... from India, Mizoram,Aizawl❤️
DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!!! epic tutorial. i've been doing the setup >the first spin to get started< for months now because it feels so awesome. i was bored and watching random tutorials. i am so gonna learn it before the end of the month (big dreams = key to success)
Defo one of the best tutorials on RUclips
Best Bboy teacher ever on RUclips!!
DUDE!!! You are awesome!!!! thank you so much for your crystal clear tutorial videos!!! I have one flare down and im working on getting them continuous. I am so glad u made the new yorker entrance b/c this will allow an easier transition to airflare. Thanks again for the great vids man... I subscribed ;D
That really helped me,i am practicing really hard and i've almost done it,Thanks!
This is actually the best af tutorial ive seen so far.thx
I'm just starting to get my upper body to the point where I can hold handstands and was getting bored and trying to think of what to try next cause. I used to rollerblade so I'm good with spinning and feeling comfortable while inverted and always played with doing backflips and such when I was younger. So glad I found this video. TY for putting in the effort to make this for all us guys looking for some cool sh** to learn.
Thanks for the tutorials! in my opinion yours are probably the most informative and explain things more thoroughly than other tutorials
One of the best instructional vids I've seen!
Just wanted to give you a big thanks for this tutorial. I am progressing a lot faster.
men this is the best videos about air flare that i ever wach! thank alotfor share it!
dude, excellent tutorial. you're doing the bboy world a great service.

Of the 600,000 noobs who watched this 599,997 quit trying to get this move the first day they tried it cuz they realized they couldn't get it over night for the rave that weekend.
lol
duelatdawn I work me ! So far 3 month ! I have two rounds with much speed and i fall ...
Even tho i can do this..ive won 3 battles eding them with flares, and lots of upper moves, ur videos are good stuff! keep it coming
subscribed, this is one of the better tutorials out there :P
been working on this effin move forever CANT GET IT!!!! GAHH
Great tutorial easy to follow and really helpful. Determined to get this.
One of the best ways to improve handstand balance and strenght is to do pushups while handstanding.
I started practising with a wall and I'm now able to do 10-15 pushups while handstanding without any walls.
A really good tutorial! The other Bboy who call his tutorial "finally a good tutorial" is arrogant.
best tutorial by far must watch
i realized that for a beginner to learn airflare, instead of the swoop, i think its better to pump the legs instead to get the idea that height is every power head's best friend, especially for air power moves! i say this because, i am still trying to learn the concept of the air flare but the swoop right now is not helping, but i did notice that someone else pumped their legs(same pump for handhops) and got over successful, so maybe i gotta learn this way.
those are like the best tutorial arrows ever ahah and u sound so professional ahah nice tutorial
so true man, i didnt know the importance of break dance until i entered college. now im starting and hope to peak at university so i can get all the good chicks
i honestly think this tutorial is even better than gamblerz =) i learned so much more from this thanks man u dope
thanks man this really helped now my sets are look really good when i do airflares
thanks pigmie for being counter clockwise spinner your tutorials are really nice dude
Doing any bboy related activity will not only build strength for the move but also act as cardio, which would cause you to lose weight if you practice enough. So I suggest starting with simpler moves if you don't have them yet. Focusing on footwork, simple freezes, and easier powermoves such as windmills, flares, etc. will lose you weight and gain you the strength to do moves like this.
Just my opinion, hope it helps
I like the background music, it makes everythig stick in my mind
@metalhead0955 hey man i was 17 when I started too!.... and yes flexibility really really helps!....to get really good flexability, get warmed up then stretch, then practice and in the middle of practicing stretch again, and then at the end stretch again....try to hold your stretches for about 10-20 seconds....the one i do in the beginning of my tutorials is my favorite, but think of your whole body and be sure its all stretched out to so you dont get injured!
This was great man, I really liked that you show how to do that low level step to strengthen the hop.
best tutorial ever! First time that I actually understood how it works:-D
this guy makes it look real easy
Nice tutorial bro, I quit bboying in 07 but I might just use this tut to completely finish learning airtrack lol.
Best guide yet... If your this good at airflares, let me see you on those drums ;)
@bboyrex20000 this seems like a common problem, like i would try to throw your left arm faster than your left leg can come down, focus on putting your hand down and catching, i feel like this is a mental thing where you get so used to landing on your left leg that i just happens everytime.... focus, throw that left arm fast! so you can break this mental block,, also try throwing off of footwork, or on a pad if regular style is causing you to mess up
Amazing explanation!!! Thanks!!!
dude these explinations are the best bro, thanks
very nice man, a sick bboy and an amazing comedian, you are the dine man
Thanks man! I'm getting it now!
Thank you sooo much this helped greatly I now I need to learn the jumping part. Learned this in 1 day
@TheBboyshinobi yes it is! it just depends how dedicated you are towards a certain move! in your case the airflare, if you practice airflares, you will eventually get the airflare
Best airflare tutorial!
this would be awesome to learn, im a bit athletic and think i could be capable of this with some practice. just one of those cool things you gotta learn
You won't actually fall on your head even if you fail to catch yourself. Worst that could happen in that case is you land on the top part of your back. It might hurt a little but more than anything it's quite surprising. You can probably get over the fear of that by learning rubberbands, which also requires you to jump onto your hands backwards.
how not to destroy living room?
ömer ergün lol
HE THE BEST WHO KNOW HOW TO TEACH AIR FLARE GOOD
Very clear and thorough tutorial = subscribbled!
@Dab1sh0p hey are you just beginning? cause if you are the kicking thing for some people like me took a while to get good....just be sure that you kick up with your left(CCW) or right(CW) before you jump....but also pay attention to your other leg,... dont let it just flop down, try to keep it solid.... really focus your whole body when attempting this move.. dont expect to just fly... and quickly put your hand down... sorry for the late reply...keep practicing!!
Thanks this was the only power move I needed work on ..i do it perdect now :)
@BboyLnS first you swing then hop ....... but you should get it down to where its really a fluid motion of a swinnnnnnnghop.... not a swing ...pause hop...hope this helps
your tutorials r good i even saw u teaching flare its awesome
@GrayFoxOriginal yea i know both airflare and flare, but i learned them separately if thats what your asking
People looking in his window are probably like what is this guy doing
@iPianoAzn you can learn airflares if you want!!!! try to start low like from a swipe and hop off of that and land on your feet or some where comfortably, then once you feel comfortable doing that try going from the throw, just start slow you can learn whatever you want! if youre dedicated!
thankyou
thanks a looot man! your tutorial is really helping my airflares :)
but i still don't know if i'm on the right way :(
i will upload a video of it and show it to you, and i hope you will give me some more tip's
much respect to you man
@Hotboiruben2 i get very sore sometimes, be sure to eat right, it helps, and i don't practice everyday, you need to take some days off to recover and get better!...its crucial! if your moderately sore maybe take one day off, if your very sore take two, but sometimes you feel sore but then you start practicing and it goes away, so find what works for you! you will know when you cant take anymore and you need to take a day or two off!
good job man... most tutorials dont go into detail as you did
i love your tutorial so much. Very clear
IMpressed he can do this in his living room without breakin anything
You explained that all really well. There is however, no chance in hell of me ever doing this.
Best tutorial out there bro! :)
Imma dancer, I've always wanted to learn how to do the airfare!! imma start practicing a lot more
@cicciodev hey man if your doing a low airflare, you can still go into another airflare, just everytime you catch, try to whip another airflare, even if its super crappy, eventually your body will adjust and you will throw two, then three and so on, its mostly a mental thing..... so try and get out of the habbit of going from airflare to windmill, just always think multiple ....multiple!!!
@AlmostAmazingGamr YES! you can learn whatever you want first! as long as youre dedicated!
This video helped me to FINALLY master this!!!
Never Thought I would get to this point Thanks for your help with my windmills and headspins and half flares haha
@aznrmeox26 hey man no you dont have to have regular flares at first... i didn't, but i also practiced flares when i was practicing airflares, and i ended up gettting them both at about the same time.....learning flares will help you with strength, but they are both pretty different moves so its not necessary
I finally landed an airflare imma upload a vid sometime this week thanks for the guides
i've been watching and learning from you vids for some time now really good tutorial i its just now i notice'd that your shirt has '' Raul the Burgler on the back'' real nice man :D
I got windmills , swipes and handstand down for down. Need to really focus of flares now!!!
@alvinl73 hey thanks man!
yea you can learn any move you want! you dont need one to get another
the flip hop part, you do all at once, lift comes from your leg swinging up, and your hop comes from your whole body, kindof like handhops, it takes practice!
I subscribed, You deserved it, and I needed this :)
@KidCaito make sure you keep the arm that your throwing off of tight and don't break the shoulder because you will loose power......... as for the sweep motion, try practicing swipes, because the motion is very similar, take it slow, it took me a while to get the sweeping motion down, but it helps a lot... just watch my airflare progression story vid and youll see what im talking about
i will like and sub even tho i almost broke my arm....
lol.... So funny Gothemm
Gothemm Reaper is
@Kira1699 i really don't focus on looking too much, i just go with what is natural... do what works for you!
Hey man first of all great tutorial. good job explaining the steps. i'm 17 and i started getting into breaking about a month ago. i can do the windmill and no i want to start working on flares. I noticed in the beginning as you were stretching that you are capable of the full side splits. I assume this helps tremendously in doing powermoves. Are there any stretches or advice you can give me that will help me achieve the full side splits?
@GrayFoxOriginal no not at all, which ever move you chose to dedicate to you can get!
You helped me a lot thanks man I apreciate it :D I'm gunna practice super hard
this is an excellent tutorial. you should def make more
Your so good that you can do it inside house with windows and mirrors. damn broooooooo
That's what I was thinking!
@Dab1sh0p hmm if your going clock wise on the sweep, its ok if your left leg bends a little, but if its falling over too fast, then try to keep your legs synchronized and tight....keep practicing!
this is the best tutorialever
@dabbuful hey man you could learn it cw, but then keep in mind that it would be awkward when you try to chain moves together, if you do all of your other powermoves ccw then it might help to learn the airflare ccw too so you can chain moves....even if it takes an extra month or so.... just dont give up cause you will learn it if you just practice! im right handed and i go ccw which is the "left" handed way btw
you re a nice teacher thanks
Thanks man :) Ur video.help me alot . I already got 1 airfare and a half
@MultiMegaChannel1 This is normal when starting, try to whip your leg up and hop off with your hands, and think to yourself always that you want to touch your hands before your feet! it will take practice but it helps to film yourself and see what your doing wrong!
If i would practice this in a tight spot like that, ill probably break all the mirrors and do some holes in the wall X) ... nice tutorial
@BBOY4LIFEBBOY4LIFE no not at all, which ever move you chose to dedicate to you can get! you can get them both too if you want
@Nectarmimz Flexibility will just help with the kicking motion of your legs you dont have to be that flexy but it does help, i have been trying to get this move to and being flexy is helping me
A tip to learning this move is knowing how to do the "swipes while holding a handstand" .
Best Lesson I'v seen. Thanks! :)
@TheDwenjang hmm i understand, this is probably very frustrating...your leg probably comes down like its second nature lol....i think it will really help to mentally focus on getting your right hand down before your right leg comes down, i feel like this is 80% a mental problem....when you throw off your left hand quickly throw your right arm down fast, before your leg has a chance to fall down,..... maybe do this on a pad or off of foot work to take the fear factor out!... hope this helps!
@justincredible9446 haha yea i was stuck on the second for a while too! maybe watch my airflare progression/ story video, and skip to about the second third where im at two and watch as i make my way to 3, maybe youll find something!
just keep throwing that second airflare even if it sucks, if you keep trying to throw it over and over, it will eventually get higher and higher and better and better form untill youll get three and so on!
hope this helps feel free to ask more!
@justincredible9446 yes i know what you mean! haha, when you catch after the first one, tense up and take control, dont let it get away from you! just thinking about taking control will help, but yes doing it a lot is the key....practice practice practice! youll get it!
Hey man great videos, I haven't seen all of them so maybe you've answered this already, but what is a good way to be able to do the splits?
