Now THAT was a nice grouping! Also have a couple of tins of those RWS Meisterkugeln pistol pellets. Pretty good choice when wanna go on the bit lighter side and keeping up with the quality. Btw.. That pistol was quite well accessorized.😊👍
Thank you for this very helpful review. I have one of these guns and it is a very forgiving pistol even for a mediocre marksman such as myself. After seeing the velocity of RWS Meisterkugeln pellets in the range of 600+fps I am not too surprised to see that, at 25 meters, the gun can occasionally penetrate tin cans if they are hit squarely.
Picked up my hatsan power charger at Wally world for $94 marked down and it pushes lead pellets at 700 feet per second. I'm sure the Diana is better quality but my power charger is beast 💪
Hatsan makes some great rifles! I have about 10 of them and the carbine version, super tac, I will review them all. Every one of the rifles like being shot off the bipods. Sounds like you got a good deal! 👍
I appreciate ALL of your videos! Always straight forward professional and resourceful. I like the way you break it all down and cover everything and rate it. NO BS!! Thank you..Kel....A+ 5 star's :-)
i have the .22 cal. Diana 'Chaser' rifle & pistol kit and was quite surprised when with the rifle barrel on it, my chronograph tests with crosman 14.3 grain destroyer lead pellets were consistently around 540-550 fps, up to 50 fps higher than Diana claims. maybe Diana doesnt have as exaggerated claims as other airgun manufacturers.
Out of all the break barrel pistols you have shot what is the most power most accuracy for furthest distance? Is this better than the Benjamin trail np mark 2 in your opinion?
Im not sure about the one Statement. The free airguns in Germany are allowed to have Power up to 7.5 Joule. Over that you need a gun liceance. Thats the reason why plenty German airguns have this " up to .... fps" . But plenty of them have round about 500 fps. Not 100 Prozent sure .
Amazing detail Introd, I am sold I will be ordering one, I have the same question some of your viewers noted the type of scope and type bi-pod you using, I look forward to your other videos
Great review! Any chance you might do a hatsan 25 supercharger or supertact in the near future? I love watching coverage of your trigger mods and their effectiveness, and with just a longer adjustment screw, I was able to get my supercharger trigger safely down to around 1lb! Thought you might like that.
I will review my Supertact at some point. I did mod that trigger years ago, I don't remember what I did but most likely I added a screw. It's got a great trigger now.
Overall it looks very nice, but that trigger needs fixin'! Any after market triggers that are made properly, with two adjusting screws for both first and second stage? Would've been so easy to design in that feature!
I just ordered this air pistol as i understand it is recoilless and made in Germany, however i can't wrap my head around why its $320 price tag costs more than a far more powerful Gamo break barrel? Is it solely because of size? Had Diana LP8 used gas piston would it be more powerful instead?
Hello 🙂 which scope, and measurements are it? Because I'm gonna buy a diana tactical set soon and wanna add a better scope than the red dot on it. Best regards Nicklas 👍
That is a Leapers/UTG Bug Buster and I used a dove-tail to picatinny scope rail. The scope comes with the nice picatinny scope rings. Thanks for watching!
@@AirgunDetectivesin your experience, this optic is Springer-rated? The lad behind the counter of my local Bass Pro said I couldn’t use it on my LP8 carbine … your thoughts? I’d love to get one.
FPS is fine to use you just need to add pellet weight as well, because ft lbs doesn't tell you the whole story either, you need ft lbs with pellet weight also. if they start to give fps with said pellet weight or ft lbs with said pellet weight, you can figure out the other either fps or ft lbs. imo fps with pellet weight would be best.
You need to know fpe as well if the pellet can penetrate and deliver a clean kill. It matters if you're into hunting. Say, minimum fpe for sorting out rodents is 7.5J
@@la2123 You know what else matters, reading comprehensions. The comment literally says if you know either fps or fpe and the pellet weight with it, you can do the math to get either one your missing, but if only given one you can't. A 336 grain pellet can do 7.5j at 86 fps, don't think that be that good mate. Granted who is using a 336grain 50cal pellet to hunt rodents. So OP's comment still stands all 3 would be the absolute best, but pellet weight with either fps or fpe is fine.

Hi Terry, that is a Leapers/UTG Bug Buster and I used a dove-tail to picatinny scope rail. The scope comes with the nice picatinny scope rings. It is a great little combo. I also put a picatinny barrel clamp on the barrel which I used for the bi-pod. The accuracy of this carbine deserves a scope. Thanks again for watching!👍

Hello Mr. Detective, another great video, I was already interested in such a gun but I thought it was another expensive and useless toy, but after all it was wrong, a carbine I liked to buy was WEIHRAUCH HW57 but they say to be bad with problems in the demunicipality system , will be, I do not know if this model is sold in America, if it is would like to know your opinion, hugs from Portugal.
Hi Luis, I have several German made Weihrauch and Beeman( Basically the same gun) rifles. They are high quality and the Rekord triggers are the best. I tuned all of mine and put upgraded spring assemblies. You can't go wrong with either brand, Diana or Weihrauch. The only HW57 I am familiar with is the underlever and it is a quality rifle. But if I was going to spend $500 I would save some money and consider the Sig Sauer ASP20. That is an amazing rifle for the price!
. thanks for the answer, yes no doubt I have several dianas, webley & scott, hw30s, hw50s and hw97k which is very heavy, give me my interest in the lightest hw57 but with an innovative loading system, here in europe to weapon houses that don't sell this model so I will have to risk and buy one, as for Sig Sauer ASP20 I saw your video and I loved it, I would like to have a carbine made in America in my collection but not selling it in Europe for now.
