  • The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust runs emergency care services across its A&E departments at North Manchester General Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, The Royal Oldham Hospital, and at its Urgent Care Centre at Rochdale Infirmary.
The Trust is currently recruiting to a number of posts to join its Emergency Care teams. This includes a number of consultant posts.
In 2012/13 the Trust saw over 320,000 patients in its emergency care departments and achieved the 95% national 4 hour access standard again for the year. The Trust is one of the best performing hospital trusts in the region in relation to our A&E waiting times. This is a result of hard work, skill and commitment from staff and a reflection of the improvements we have made in ensuring patients are either treated, moved to appropriate wards or discharged out of hospital in a timely manner when they are medically fit to do so.
