Hello mark, I just clicked the link with BlockFi and set up an account hoping to invest in Bitcoin. However the "wire transfer" uses the currency "stablecoin". Do you have any tutorials to show how you did it as I'm not very good with technology. Thankyou.
@ Mark Tilbury Investing in precious metals as a hedge against inflation does not necessarily mean that your investment (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) increases in value. As a hedge, gold’s value stays the same, but the currency you use buys less of it. e.x. In the US if gold was worth 100 USD an ounce, and in the UK it was worth 73 GBP; if the US government ** the bed, the same amount of gold would cost a lot more USD while still being 73 GBP. A recent example is what occurred in Venezuela where people started buying sugar to barter with because their currency was losing value so fast. My most successful investment was thanks to Covid. I picked up 50,000 shares of Hertz Rental Car at $0.55/share.

Man, I love this video. It"s cheesy, the acting is off, but honestly - this should be shown in schools. It explains a lot of basics, even from just basic knowledge as having savings in case something goes wqrong in life, which could very well help someone out in a dire situation.

True, shorting isn't for rookies but that doesn't mean they have to stay off it, I started as a rookie and in my first 5 months, I made a profit of about $380,000 with no funny strategies, I basically was just following the steps and guideline of my mentor/consultant, Lisa Jill Grenell. She is quite popular you should look her up on the web if you need guidance she has a website and all her crd is online.
You just can't reliably outperform the market. Let's pretend you do the right move, then the market would react, and you'd always be one step behind. You just can't predict the future. Of course it doesn't mean someone someday can't get lucky. But that is really all it is, luck.

Mining isn’t finding „new“ bitcoin, miners are just a node of the blockchain wich get a small part of the transaction fees for providing their PC as a validationpoint.
Fees are part of the reward that miners get, but with each new transactions block new bitcoin is generated and each time less and less new bitcoin gets generated by new transaction blocks. That is why the amount of bitcoin is finite, there will be a point on which new transaction blocks just wont generate any new bitcoin and the only incentive to mine will be the transaction fees.
After watching these 2 videos, I think I’m actually gonna invest in: 1: Index fund (S&P 500). 2: Individual Stocks 3: crypto Those are my top 3. However I think I might do a 4th and try a REIT as well. I’m new and wanna get some experience before being really risky. Need to start somewhere. Best advice is: Investing is risky, so only invest money that you are willing to lose. When somebody makes money that means that others have lost money. It's simple advice, but valuable none the less. There is an old joke about investing, "I'm starting on my second million dollars -- I gave up on my first million!"
Whilst it is true that investing in the short term has risk, in the long term then it is largely risk free, you just have to pick your moment to get your money out (if you ever feel the need). It is also not true that when someone makes money then someone else has lost money. If that were true it would be a static system and we would never have 'advanced' economically. Business as a whole is about generating more 'pies' rather than dividing up a pie of fixed size.

I start in March 2020. TESLA, SQUARE, ARKINVEST. Few months I sold ARK but kept and added to Tesla and Square. Still holding roughly up about 378% at the moment 7/1/2021. Made a lot of mistakes but I’m still doing fairly well.

I watched this video back when I was struggling between jobs and am proud to say that with my new job as a cook I'm finally able to invest myself into the markets and hopefully make some money along the way, thank you for the inspiring video.
Invested 100 USD in 2019 in BTC and Im at around 400 USD now
I bought 200usd back in early 2018 spent 180 of it and I left the remainder and forgot about it till recently and now it’s at over $500

Mining isn’t finding „new“ bitcoin, miners are just a node of the blockchain wich get a small part of the transaction fees for providing their PC as a validationpoint.
Dont they also get a part of the block reward which would be considered as "new" bitcoin? (If they mine in a mining pool of course)
Fees are part of the reward that miners get, but with each new transactions block new bitcoin is generated and each time less and less new bitcoin gets generated by new transaction blocks. That is why the amount of bitcoin is finite, there will be a point on which new transaction blocks just wont generate any new bitcoin and the only incentive to mine will be the transaction fees.
You didn't actually explain the "finding" of bitcoin through mining. I would, but I can't be arsed.

After watching these 2 videos, I think I’m actually gonna invest in:
1: Index fund (S&P 500).
2: Individual Stocks
3: crypto
Those are my top 3. However I think I might do a 4th and try a REIT as well. I’m new and wanna get some experience before being really risky. Need to start somewhere. But eventually I would like to be making bigger moves. That’s a topic for another day though. Good video Mark. Thankyou

This video alone included the gist of what I have learnt about investment in the past year. Solid gold for beginners (which I am), well done!
Best advice is: Investing is risky, so only invest money that you are willing to lose. When somebody makes money that means that others have lost money. It's simple advice, but valuable none the less. There is an old joke about investing, "I'm starting on my second million dollars -- I gave up on my first million!"
Whilst it is true that investing in the short term has risk, in the long term then it is largely risk free, you just have to pick your moment to get your money out (if you ever feel the need). It is also not true that when someone makes money then someone else has lost money. If that were true it would be a static system and we would never have 'advanced' economically. Business as a whole is about generating more 'pies' rather than dividing up a pie of fixed size.
"When somebody makes money, it means that somebody has lost money". That's wrong, mate.

I was working abroad in ‘sales and events’, unfortunately because of this covid tho the Season is no longer on and after losing my job in October. It’s been great watching your videos to learn from this past month tho and I’m glad I’ve encountered your channel. Makes a difference to be able to learn what I need. Hopefully I should begin this month myself, I’d definitely like to see a bit more on Bitcoin, as even though it’s a high risk/reward I feel in the next few months Bitcoin is going to soar in price personally.

My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I'm currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. In order of percentage of investment for me,
1)REIT
2)Index Fund (actually, I wouldn't do an index, I'd do a DRiP because compound interest is magic)
3)Crypto

Hit 110k last week, lost over 14k today
Just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it’s ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? I start in March 2020. TESLA, SQUARE, ARKINVEST. Few months I sold ARK but kept and added to Tesla and Square. Still holding roughly up about 378% at the moment 7/1/2021. Made a lot of mistakes but I’m still doing fairly well.
