It causes confusion and when the rare individual tries to get a deffinition we can't find one except in a medical dictionary. The common voter NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND what you are saying to be able to SUPPORT your EFFORTS to improve our government politically and the general mental health of our nation. The periodic use of medical terms during the covid pandemic did the same. It effectively confused the common person about what a virus is and how it multiplies and spreds causing undue harm. Everyone should be listening to Dr Lee, but apart from the odd comment I never hear about Trump's mental condition mentioned in the media.
George Conway and Denver Riggleman have both put together coalitions and PACs to make Dr. Lee's work more available to the voting public. Much has happened since "The Dangerous Case" came out. We need broad support from all citizens to keep making the message as BIG as billboards.
There are many who have spoken out.
The Press/Media with the exception of very few like Rachel Maddow have totally avoided this truth about Donald J. Trump
There is almost a total media black out on these concerns.
There were discussions and sharing of information on X (Twitter); however, there is almost a total censorship
now on X.
RUclips is probably the one arena where these issues are frequently discussed and focused on as a true danger to the U.S. We must totally help spread the word!

i cant speak to details but, i kind of remember they were working together in the very beginning and at some point somewhat parted ways... dr gartner was with 'duty to warn' very early, dont know if dr. lee was with them and left or wasnt ever really with them. dont know details but there might be some bit of disagreement there for some reason. really glad to see theres a book with a plan to get past this, extremely interested what that is. very disappointing how much the professionals have been silenced while we need them the most.

But they had a disagreement where Dr. Lee wants to take a more accurate professional approach, and Dr. Gardner is okay with a less professional presentation, they parted ways over the film Unfit. So we can learn from each separately.

I think George Conway has consulted with professionals in psychiatry and/or psychology.
George is well read on the topic and able to articulate the case of Trumps sociopathic and narcissistic tendencies. He was actually ‘in the room’ in 2017 when he began looking into Trumps mental health problems. No he’s not a mental health specialist, but he is a well informed person that is putting his money behind advertising warning about Trump and boldly speaking out.
George Conway initially got his education on the subject from Dr. Bandy Lee, and used all the information she gave him to write his big article in the Atlantic, but refused to credit her or mention her name. All the media were told by the APA to silence mental health professionals because of the Goldwater Rule and the threat of lawsuits. This is all documented as it happened in Dr. Lee's twitter feed. So that's why we hear a lot more from Conway than actual doctors. He may be getting the message out now in a way that helps, but he is a GOP dirty trickster at heart going back to the 1990s.
He's not afraid to put out the truth, a hero in my book!

Unfortunately, the media has done much to normalize Trump and his cult over these last several years. Citizens need to possess a commitment to the principles of the Constitution. We need strong democratic institutions such as the media, judiciary, free and fair elections, infrastructure, jobs, education. THe media must educate the citizenry in the maintenance of their democracy. We need an ethic of reciprocity, that is to let the majority govern while the majority protects the rights of the minority. We need pluralism, term limits, and in the absence of any of these, we need a capable leader willing and able to make critical decisions at crucial times.
Every American needs to see this video. It needs to be played over and over again and referenced by other channels.

I am not in the mental health field, but it has been an avocation. It may be helpful to review a list of symptoms, with a brief description, for Trump's pathology and to then list a few examples of each symptom. Although this might be a time consuming process, it might be not only educational but also more easily understandable by the general public as a problematic and dangerous pattern of behavior.

Media has become difficult to navigate because of algorithm censorship and regulation. Psychology and political discussions seem to be heavily regulated and a third rail of the media. It is very unfortunate as logic, content and facts aren't part of the algorithm criteria, and unfortunate as it has extensive health implications.

Most of my family is lost to trump. They first joined a Church, then trump’s cult. What’s troubling is the level of hatred they have for “woke” culture. People they don’t even know. That you likened it to joining a street gang seems to make sense. They are full of rage, I sent one single rally picture to our family group chat last weekend and they went through the roof and replied with doctored video of the opposition, followed by hateful rhetoric and just disrespectful behavior. I am sick about it. I’ve already moved across the country decades ago to have peace and quiet.
Besides that, the Harris Walz rallies are so uplifting and inspiring, I don’t think we would be able to reach them at this point; it’s just painful to be around them. If politics is not brought up, we can be civil. But that’s it. And it is revealing, what they have actually chosen.
Dr what can we expect when the Trump contagion breaks ? How will his followers recover ?

As a lifelong mental health consumer who does my own research and learning, I have been sounding the alarm for months about an imminent mental health crisis in America, and by extension the World. I experienced my own struggles intensely the days before the changes in the Democratic ticket. Yes, there is some relief now. It's also rather ephemeral.

Several years age, I returned to college and took a Critical Thinking class and it really changed my life. I called what I learned a B.S. detector. It should be taught in high school.

One very important thing I have learned from watching Dr Lee is that mental illness is contagious. That explains the healing I had to do after 17 years with a malignant narcissist. In Trump's case, his position gives him the opportunity to spread his illness like COVID. How many people all over the world have been infected by him?

Dr Lee can you explain the suicidal deaths of the police officers who fought on Jan 6? Also who is able to keep Jan 6 from happening again? Watched it happen live on RUclips from House floor and it was traumatic for me. I thought the female reporter and cameraman were going to be hurt or killed in front of me along with many others. I saw guns out saw gas heard the gunshots as they were crawling out! Then as I watched got on the phone to a Christian in my Bible study for prayer only to have her angrily say it wasn’t a coup it was antifa and Black Lives Matter.

I thought it was extremely unprofessional that she made that comment about Robert Reich. She alluded to something that she apparently knew about him but did not come out and say it. I looked and could not find any reference to anything that he had done wrong. To cast aspersions without any further comment on the reason that she was calling him a malignant narcissistic was beneath her and her profession. I was about to subscribe but changed my mind when she made that comment.
