    Get yourself a couple paint sticks at Home Depot, and stick those in between the base and the dome so the moisture can escape better; your pizza will crisp up better.

Thank you for your most candid videos , I hope you are aware of how many people you are assisting with them!

    I lost my manual for the NU wave, and my attempt at microwaving my pizza led to disastrous results...
    my husband was the cook, 💙the chef.
    thanks for this. 😭
    I still cannot set the temperature...
    I figured just go with it...8 minutes - it doesn't let me set 15 so, okay
    with frozen pizza, remove the plastic A N D f l i p...ped , half the toppings fell on the counter and floor so🤔
    another epic failure
    my husband was concerned I would starve without him...
    thank God for protein shakes
    😉 & chocolate
    burned 98 % at 6 minutes - the edges were good😉

    💥 I *love* your channel man! I picked up a NuWave for my sister at a thrift store last summer ($10! extender rings and all) - and really enjoyed it. I've been on the hunt for one ever since, and picked up an obviously-used-once unit at a thrift store here in my town ($40 also with rings and kit). Last night, my first time using it - frozen pizza - before I watched your video... it was, edible. Barely. And now I know why! 😄 No flippiage = doughy crust with a burned top!
    This looks like a P.I.T.A. for frozen pizza, with mixed results - the unit only goes to 350 degrees, not nearly hot enough for frozen pizza, or any recipe over 350. Which, is disappointing.

    My wife and I really appreciate all your videos.
    Just an idea ... with the non-flip method, what if you were to try cooking the crust back-side up on the rack first, to get it a bit crunchy and then flip it, add your toppings, and complete cooking from there.
    Also, get rid of the foil so that the air can circulate through the rack and around the pizza thereby minimizing any soggy bottom crust.
    Use a big spatula to remove the finished pizza from the oven.
    Like I said, love your videos and you strike me as the kind of person that would make a good friend.
    All the best and good luck with your subscribing campaign. Hope you stay on and get paid!

    Well I subscribed. You cook alot of every day guy food. Letting you try alot of things out before I do. I use to cook with a Nuwave but thag was over a year ago. I'm surprised you have to flip it.

      Several pizzas later and I can't get any to turn out right. 10 mins face down 10 mins face up. Still not crispy. I know there is nothing wrong with my unit because I have cooked the usual burgers, meatloaf, and other things I use to cook just fine. Also I find with any food I cook the food looses it's heat quicker. It will come out steaming hot and just a couple mins later back to cold as with pizzas or toasted sandwiches etc....

    I see you like your appliance cord cooked well done. I prefer mine uncooked. I really like all the features on my Nuwave oven with the exception of the cracking domes. I am on my third cracking dome in three years but I will have to admit to cooking a whole flock of chickens, a few turkeys, a few trees worth of apples, a field's worth of sweet potatoes, a lot of squash, pumpkins, biscuits, cakes, pizza's, french fries, beef roasts and other assorted stuff. I love the set it and forget it feature. I just wish the domes were more durable or that the discount stores I have purchased my three from would carry replacement domes and at an affordable price like maybe at a third or a forth of the $69.99 I paid for each of the last two ovens I bought from Bi-Mart. If they did I would buy several just to keep on hand for spares.

    Another helpful video. I wondered what the pizza flipper was in my new NuWave....I couldn't figure out how you'd flip a pizza. Ha! Your video makes it all clear now. How did flipping this pizza compare to your other pizza video where you didn't flip it? The non-flipped one seemed a bit floppier and not as crispy. Did this flipping method make it a bit crispier?

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  7 лет назад +2

      +Karen Edwards No I have never tried a Pot Roast. And I never purchased their cookbook. I chose to make my own instead :-D. I have done a Turkey Pot Pie though and it turned out really good. Recipe is on my SuperWaveOvenRecipes.co. blog.
      For a Pot Roast, I would cover it with foil, to prevent it overcooking the top and drying out.
      I have also done a Pork Roast, just the meat and have that recipe on my blog at: superwaveovenrecipes.com/hormel-pork-roast-nuwave-oven-recipe/

    • @R1ch4rd74

      use the nonstick foil. i do on a lot of meat dishes i cook it the nuwave. potroast you season then wrap completely the reynolds nonstick foil. you can add vegtables in another 'pouch' to cook with them. i add onions with the potroast season wrap dull side in of course. power level 9 cook time 35mins depending on weight of potroast.

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  7 лет назад +2

      +Neil Williams Nothing works as parchment paper will. Toppings and cheese will stick to aluminum foil, can't use wax paper or other papers, can't use cardboard. Best to go buy some parchment paper.
      Or you will need to use a conventional oven or a grill.

    • @jamesstante1207

      Reynolds Parchment paper can be bought cheaply at Amazon, if you can't find it at the grocer. Comes in a roll - just perforate the piece you cut off for even heat flow to top and bottom of food.

    Hey, why dont you use the power head/dpme rack holder so you dont have to keep laying the hot dome on your counter and it wont roll around? I know you got that silver wire dome holder. Its a lot safer to use it to hold the hot dome.

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  7 лет назад +2

      I've had a NuWave for many years. It's actually far safer not to use that wire dome holder. I don't use a regular plastic dome. I have the NuWave Power Dome and it's much heavier. It falls from the wire holder easily, making the wire holder far less safe. Also, even with the plastic dome, that wire holder does not perform well, does not hold the dome well. I prefer not to use that wire dome holder and find that to be the much safer method.
      To each their own, if you like the wire dome holder, use it for you. But it's not for me.

    total time after you flipped it & opened it a few times was at least 20 minutes. So time difference once it starts to cook compared to oven is only 2 minutes difference.

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  7 лет назад

      +BBBYpsi Incorrect, a conventional oven requires at least 5 minutes preheating and the NuWave Oven was only opened once for a flip. The flip takes seconds when not being done for video demonstration. Under 20 minutes total.
