Nice box of trout, as some one that has been fishing around grand isle louisiana since I Was a kid it's insane to me you had to run 50 miles to find those hogs. I've caught ice chest of those and never had to run offshore at all. A bunch of cool barrier islands like that near fourchon, like south of terrebonne parish that we use to do the same stuff on. Leave in the afternoon, fish trout until dark, cook something and drink beer till the tide is coming in, then gig some flounder all night, in the morning hit the trout again at first light then head home around lunch time.
@@bitcoinpoker76 thanks! We don’t necessarily have to run 50 miles out but we like to. We do still have a pretty good inshore fishery but I don’t think it is as good as it was years ago.

Man what a beautiful place. If you had a garden all you would have to do is catch fish for meat to survive
