Good Morning ladies and Gents. This started off as a personal "what if". (not my "what if..." series but more of a "let see if I can make this" type of thing). Eventually I arrived here, finished product. So, this is my version of the SNW intro, but with the Enterprise-A. I couldnt replicate every scene from the intro. Im not THAT good...yet lol. So I added my own touches for each scene. Some of them I made from Star Trek V such as the Great Barrier and Sha Ka Ree (along with the beam from The Ones apperance on Sha Ka Ree). If you guys like it...maybe I'll make a "Season 2" version. Or maybe a version with the TOS Enterprise and make some fitting shots from other episodes. As always...Enjoy!
Enterprise D. Galaxy Class. Which it's worth noting was based on what one of the people responsible for the Constitution Refit (Andrew Probert) wanted to make that refit look like if he had had free reign in the first place. So when he got his chance that's exactly what he did.

Ya know I own the d.v.d box set for Star Trek:Strange New Worlds season 1 and it is awesome and after seeing this video of the Enterprise A for it wouldn't it be something if they did the movies based on the Strange New World series now that would be something to watch.
Nice work. There was a 'what if' comic from a few years ago where Pike is still in command by the time of the Enterprise-A, and Kirk is a civilian captain instead.
That's outstanding work. 👏👏👏👏👏 Now put that with all ships named Enterprise possibly?. That would be cool. I miss the Leonard Nimoy intro though. 😥 Still all in all great job.
It was a severely compromised refit - yes more power, more speed, more offensive capabilities, but this was all powered by a new vertical warp core never intended to run up the delicate spine of this ship. This made Enterprise far more defensively vulnerable (as seen in wrath of Kahn) than isolating it deep within the secondary hull or increasing the neck portion as on the Excelsior. It's like cramming a dual overhead cam inside a low swooping hood meant for a pushrod engine. Is the slight bit of power worth throwing off the balance of what made the Constitution so great?
Based upon this, I really hope that you'll consider doing more tributes like this. Perhaps, with not only the other Enterprises (NX-01, B, D, E, Kelvin timeline), but also the Voyager, Defiant, Reliant, Cerritos and other well-known Starfleet vessels.
This is so good! You’ve got some really excellent shots on this! Seeing the Connie II do some of those flybys was just pure ship porn 🤣. I’d love to see this intro done with the Enterprise B or C. I fee those two get little love, and they deserve more! Thank you for your work and amazing talent! ❤🖖

My god that is a sexy ship. Anything with the Refit/Enterprise-A will always get my attention. I was after all introduced to Star Trek with (at the time) first 4 movies before watching my first TOS episode. But I like that you kept it somewhat canonical to what she encountered. Sha'kari was especially a nice touch.
To bad they can't complete Kirks last two years of that 5 year mission before the show got cancelled. I loved to see that rogue Harry Mudd one more time before the Enterprise refit was done.
Amazing work as always! I'd love to see you tackle some more Picard-related stuff, like the Titan-A/Enterprise-G, Stargazer and the rest of the fleet 😀 (A really cool thing would be a "what if" where Jurati's borg comes and rescues the Titan, so an original borg vs "neo-borg" thing :))
Not trying to nickpick however at 1:26, l noticed the Enterprise A model wobbled a bit while in orbit. I watched the same scene numerous times just to see if l was seeing things but its there. Other than that, awesome reimagining of the SNW intro.
The production quality isn't as good as the actual show. But I have to say I definitely prefer this over what we actually have. Very well done hats off.

I’d disagree. Original Enterprise, with the refit. The “-A” on the hull has always bothered me.
We now officially need a new animated series documenting the last eight years of the TOS Crew’s operational lifetime.
My idea was to have a animated series based off of the 4th and 5th season of the TOS five year mission.
