I can't get over all these 4Chan fake rumors that say the game is set in the future. I just don't see it. The trailer says it's a Lumiose City Development Plan, implying it's in the past. I think the futuristic wireframe in the trailer throws us off.
I got the impression of past and future from the trailer. The trailer was filled with a lot of contrasting imagery, the rudimentary plans or map to the futuristic wire frame and also the contrast between the Z and A in the logo. I have a feeling both the past and present will be very involved in this game. Id say its probably mainly set in the past cuz legends means often a past tale or smth, and pla was in the past.

As I've said several times before, temper expectations for Worlds. Remember, it's mainly multiplayer focused, and unlike the main series of games, Legends is a singleplayer focused experience.

There is no way we are not going to at least see a bit of gameplay, the starters, player character and professor this year maybe even release date which will most likely be may-July 2025.
