I love this coffee maker! I have a question: after a year of use, the water level indicator is really darkened around 2-3 cups, so it's hard to measure. How can I clean this?
Thanks for your question here. We're happy to hear you are a fan of this coffee maker, though it is unfortunate to hear the water level indicator is darkened. For the cleaning instructions, you can visit our user manual here: to.philips/6054GX38m. We would also advise you to avoid using harsh cleaning products around the measuring area, since this can also affect the visibility of the digits. Hello. Can I control the ratio coffee grounds to water with this product? For example, I want to add more grounds in the cup of coffee compared to the produced cup in this video.
Hi Ahmad, thank you for reaching out. You can fill the container with coffee beans till its full. The machine calculates the usage of beans, based on your personal settings. Feel free to return to us, if you have more questions!
Hi Phillips I've been looking high and low for this coffee machine in Australia (Western Australia) and I can't find it anywhere can you please advise 😊
I have been using this product everyday now, absolutely in love with it. However sometimes I want a stronger taste, so how do I make an espresso shot. Is that even possible. Thank you.

you can not make expresso on this filter coffe machine.. but you can make very strong coffe.! you do that by adding more beans than coffe. if you f.eks only fill water for 2 cups , but cring coffe for 5 cups. it becomes very strong. it is all about the amount of water vs amount off grinded beans
I read in the manual that the filter basket is dishwasher safe (also this video says so, I know), but what about the glass jug? Is this dishwasher safe? I couldn't find any information in the manual, nor on Philips website. I have the HD7766/00/D.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us, You can choose how long you want your coffee to stay hot after brewing by adjusting the time after which the appliance automatically switches off. The default automatic switch-off time is 30 minutes. The maximum automatic switch-off time is 120 minutes. But there is no option to reduce temperature during making the coffee.
Will i be able to replace the glass container, if it breaks? I had to discard my last coffee machine because i couldn't find a replacement for the glass container and the mechanism of the machine was such that the container had to push the knob in the filter up to release the coffee. So i don't want to waste my money this time
Hello Ava, thank you for your comment. A spare coffee glass container for this machine can be generally purchased on our website, depending on product availability at a specific moment. We hope this answers your question!
Hello, very nice product, I am thinking of buying, how much is the volume of the coffee bean container? and how many grams of coffee do I get if I fill the whole bean hopper?

Greetings, my coffee maker always produce less coffee than indicated. For example , I pour an amount of water for 3 cups , and I end of up with 1 cup only. The machine am using is Philibs COffee maker and grinder , HD7762 , exactly the same one as in the video. And the country is Saudia Arabia. Please advice.
Hi Abdullah, thanks for reaching out to us! We are sorry to hear that your coffee maker seems to be producing less coffee than indicated. Have you tried descaling the water reservoir? If you use your coffee maker regularly (two full jugs of coffee every day), below is the recommended frequency on when to descale your machine: 2 or 3 times a year if you use soft water (up to 18dH) 4 or 5 times a year if you use hard water (over 18dH) More information on how to descale your machine, can be found here: to.philips/6058H9Wxa. Please let me know if the issue keeps occurring after trying this.
Hello, thanks for your questions regarding our Grind and Brew Coffee Machine! Unfortunately we do not have information on how many grams are used per setting. If this information is very important for you, kindly reach out to us on Social Media so that we can take a closer look. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook (to.philips/6051ztIdv) and Twitter (to.philips/6053ztIdx). One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further ☺️
Hi Carsten, thanks for your comment! Indeed. 😊 The Grind & Brew has a conical grinder that allows for an optimal grind size for an espresso. You can also use ground coffee instead of coffee beans if you prefer - the grind shut-off function disables the grinder so you can simply put the ground coffee into the filter. Hope this helps but let us know if you have any further questions!
Hi there Ahmad, thanks for your question. Could you share your country of residence with us? We'll then be able to have our local colleagues assist you further with this. Thanks!
That's a good question Ahmad, we actually wanted to forward your question to our specialized coffee team in your Country of residence. However, we already have an answer to your question. :) This machine unfortunately isn't designed to be used as a separate grinder. The grinder is only functional if you use it to make a drink with the machine itself. What does make the machine unique in comparison to other models is that this one has two separate compartments for different types of coffee. Let us know if this answers your question and take care.
This is such a nice machine, but im in South Africa. Would i assume its a Number paper filter or permanent filter? Please advise or link me to where i can get those filters to put inside the filter holder
Thanks for getting back to us and for sharing the additional info, Isgak. We've forwarded your details to our local colleagues and they will get back to you here on Facebook as soon as they can.
I got it recently, really I love it. One thing I could’not do is to re-heat the left over coffee in the pot. How to do that. Maximum duration for the timer to keep hot coffee is 120 min. How to re-heat the left over whenever I want. Thank you. It is great machine.
Hi. Is this machine not suitable for espresso beans? What would happen when I'd try to brew them? When I see the dual container thing, I directly thought that I would put normal coffee beans on one side, espresso beans on the other. Isn't that possible?
Hi. Espresso beans are ok but you need to grind it in different grinder otherwise you may damage the blades. Ask Starbucks do it for free. Tell them drip machine settings that would be 6 I guess
Hi there, thanks for your question. The coffee in the jug cools down faster if you brew only a few cups. The coffee stays hot longer if you brew 10 cups, which is a full jug. Also make sure to descale your Grind & Brew coffee machine every two months for optimal performance. If our suggestions don't bring improvement and you suspect that your device is not functioning according to specifications, don't hesitate to send us a message via social media (Facebook or X) or to contact us via one of the options on to.philips/6058wh8B2, so we can further assist you. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the time. 1 is 10 minutes, 2 is 20 minutes, 3 is 30 minutes and so on until 12 is 120 minutes. 4. Press in the center of the knob to confirm the minutes. We appreciate the prompt reply, Snowflake. The model number for the Grind & Brew in your country of residence is: HD7761/00 (to.philips/6050JdVmE). However, the only way that you will be able to fill up the machine with 2 kinds of coffee beans, is if you have the duo-container. This container does not come with the machine, but is sold separately via other retailers. Please let us know if this information is helpful or if you have any other questions!

Hello, thanks for your question regarding the Grind & Brew coffee machine! There is not an option to reheat the coffee, however you can brew from 2 to 10 cups (275 ml to 1375 ml). If you find you are not using all the coffee that you are brewing, it might best to brew smaller amounts. You can find more information regarding the Grind & Brew in the user guide: to.philips/6054KYR8i We hope this helps, keep enjoying the coffee! ☕
Hi Zeid, thanks for your query.Would you kindly indicate the exact model number of your coffee machine, so we could check its technical specifications? :)
Thanks, Zeid! If you are using a glass jug, you can try the tips below on how to keep your coffee temperature hot: 1. Make sure the glass jug is placed on the hotplate properly 2. Make sure the hotplate and the bottom of the jug are clean 3. Use thin cups. Thin cups will absorb less heat from the coffee than thicker cups 4. Make sure the size of the cup matches the amount of coffee. Do not pour a small amount of coffee into a large cup. 5. If you drink coffee with fresh milk, pre-heat the milk in the cup in a microwave. 6. Descale your coffee maker regularly. Let us know if that has worked! :)
@@Philips Thanks for that, but my issue is that after exactly 30 minutes the coffee maker making alarm sound then its stops the heater!! I think there is a settings to extend that time.

Hello guys, any idea about the Grind Size and the button on top of the Coffee Beans? Shall I go always for the Medium option or it depends on the Coffee Bean, I don't really understand how it works. Anyone here that can enlighten me?

I feel awful because this product doesn't even sell in my country... Every where I try to order it I am not only asked to wait for 2-3 weeks but also the delivery charges are so freaking high. Seems like I will have to make a home shift before I buy this for a reasonable price :(
Hello there, thanks for coming to us with this here. We sure would like to see if we can help turn that water into coffee. 😊 Would you say that the issue is that the beans aren’t going through the grinder? Please check that you have not accidentally selected the pre-ground coffee function. If the pre-ground symbol is shown on the display, the pre-ground coffee function is active. 1. Press the strength select button and turn the knob to select the grinder function. 2. If the coffee grinding function has been selected, make sure that you push the center of the knob twice to start the grinding and brewing process. We hope this helps, but will be here to investigate further if necessary.

You can. :) The Grind and Brew Coffee Maker offers you 9 grind size options, so you're free to adjust to your content. Hope this helps!

Hello there, we would just like to know if you still want an answer to your question. We're here to help!
If you use your coffee maker regularly (two full jugs of coffee every day), below is the recommended frequency on when to descale your machine:
2 or 3 times a year if you use soft water (up to 18dH)
4 or 5 times a year if you use hard water (over 18dH)
More information on how to descale your machine, can be found here: to.philips/6058H9Wxa.
Please let me know if the issue keeps occurring after trying this.

However, we already have an answer to your question. :) This machine unfortunately isn't designed to be used as a separate grinder. Thanks, Zeid! If you are using a glass jug, you can try the tips below on how to keep your coffee temperature hot:
1. Make sure the glass jug is placed on the hotplate properly
2. Make sure the hotplate and the bottom of the jug are clean
3. Use thin cups. Thin cups will absorb less heat from the coffee than thicker cups
4. Make sure the size of the cup matches the amount of coffee. Do not pour a small amount of coffee into a large cup.
5. If you drink coffee with fresh milk, pre-heat the milk in the cup in a microwave.
6. Descale your coffee maker regularly.

I feel awful because this product doesn't even sell in my country... Every where I try to order it I am not only asked to wait for 2-3 weeks but also the delivery charges are so freaking high. Seems like I will have to make a home shift before I buy this for a reasonable price :(
I just bought this . The beans don’t go inside. Only water comes out. The coffee does not come out. ??
Hello there, thanks for coming to us with this here. We sure would like to see if we can help turn that water into coffee. 😊
Would you say that the issue is that the beans aren’t going through the grinder? Please check that you have not accidentally selected the pre-ground coffee function. If the pre-ground symbol is shown on the display, the pre-ground coffee function is active.
1. Press the strength select button and turn the knob to select the grinder function.
2. If the coffee grinding function has been selected, make sure that you push the center of the knob twice to start the grinding and brewing process.
We hope this helps, but will be here to investigate further if necessary.
Can espresso?
thank you for the info... will be getting this next week..xD...

Genius engineers “uses all the water” “requires paper filter”
😑 indeed
This is a very nice machine, but unfortunately started leaking after 6 months. I am not the only one having had this problem. We were able to fix it,but it is unnecessary and it was still under warranty. Watch out.

Thank you Philips It's nice product.. but it's too complicated for me..

Just bought this machine and i feel it is just plain stupid that it uses all water from the water dispenser the whole point of buying this machine was to fill it with beens and warer and just use it to brew a cup or two now and then
Hi Ceilo, thank you for reaching out to us. We're not quite sure what you mean with this. Could you perhpas elaborate?
@@Philips the machine use all the water jn the dispenserif i fill it upp to say 10 cups and I want to brew two or four cups it does measure the amount of coffee quite well but it still takes all tge water in the dispenser instead of just taking water gor teo or gour cups its so stupid
That actually does not seem to sound right. Could you perhaps reach out to us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram? We would like to further troubleshoot this issue. Hope to speak to you there.
@@Philips you tell me well it us designed to work like this from the manual:"•
The 2-10 cups button lights up when you
press it.
•
The selected number of cups appears on
the display.
Note:

The appliance uses all the water in the water
tank. Make sure that the number of cups you
select with the 2-10 cups button equals the
amount of water that you have poured into
Hi Cello, could you share the exact model number of your machine? It's the number that starts with 'EP'. We'll then check documentation and get back to you. Hope to hear from you.
