The 2nd Assault by the Soviets to capture the bridge near Outpost Sunshine, Narva 1944 (Bolt Action)

- The Soviets have brought up armor support to make a second attack vs this key bridge in the Narva sector near Outpost Sunshine. Unfortunately the Germans have brought a King Tiger across the bridge to bolster their defenses.
I hope you enjoy this 2nd edition Bolt Action battle report. I had a blast playing it and I have tried to bring it all to you for your enjoyment. I also hope you are able to get a lot of miniatures painted while listening to me ramble on.

🤩, Only at turn one but I have to say I'm already totally engaged. The table is still the best ever and the commentary laced with great humour that only Steve can deliver has me constantly grinning and waiting for his reaction to the next die roll .

@@basement1908 I watch all you stuff Steve. Your Napoleonic's are my favourite for their scale and colour but I'm a big fan of ww2 Eastern front games.
Re you comment at the end of this battle about maybe the Russians needed a bit more support , I did think at this stage of the war some off table Russian artillery should and historically would probably have been available .
You only need to roll for moral when >50% of a squad have been killed by a single attack from one enemy unit, not when you reach 50% of the original unit size. Also Soviets can reroll this moral check and the second result stands. Few more things but the overall look and feel of the battle was great! Love how multipurpose this table mat is, it never feels out of place

I like the open terrain not every battle field was just city fights or deep Forest
