- With soaring cliffs, cascading waterfalls, crystal clear pools and majestic old trees through which the sun dapples, Upper Tonquani is considered by many as the most beautiful and spectacular of all Magaliesberg kloofs.
Karien Bezuidenhout and Marzelle van der Merwe, both competitive female trail runners, decided to spend a weekend exploring this magical place. Seeing that the Tonquani complex stretches for kilometre after kilometre, going light and fast was their only option.

I watched this video when you first posted it. I am back to look at the beautiful Magaliesberg (home for me) and the wonderful footage you captured.
Wow! That just inspired me to explore wild places like Tonquani and leave nothing but footprints and a deep respect. There's something about unspoiled Nature that is magnetic to all humans. I believe we need to get in touch with that magnetism on a daily basis.

very nice work guys...! real priviledge to explore & see what are very quickly dissapearing pristine wilderness areas...free of human "development". places like this are my church...where i feel the sacred realm, not in any buildings.
