What is it about a Jeep that feels so iconic? Since my early 20s, Jeeps have been a steady thread in my life, carrying me through different chapters with their rugged charm and sense of adventure. This is my fourth Jeep chapter, though who knows-maybe I’m setting the stage for the fifth. There’s something about the image of Sarah Connor in The Terminator, riding off into the unknown with her dog in a Jeep, hair blowing and a bandanna tied around her head, that has always stuck with me. It’s that feeling of freedom, resilience, and readiness for whatever’s next that keeps me coming back.
In this video, I reflect on my Jeep story while tackling the aftermath of my U-Haul camper project, which left my driveway worse for wear. Refinishing it became a symbolic act of making space for what’s to come-sanding, priming, painting, and sealing the surface for a fresh start. I also prepped my trade-in, a car I wasn’t even supposed to have, to maximize its value and minimize the debt rolling forward. This isn’t just about cars-it’s about clearing the past, embracing the present, and chasing the thrill of what’s ahead.

It used to drive me crazy seeing my carport in disarray while I was busy working on the U-Haul project. Now that it’s refreshed, it’s such a relief-it feels like a weight has been lifted!

The vending machine thing hits me a certain way because like you I’m still a kid a heart & have always loved vending machines 😆 I also have a soft spot for jeeps - I’ve never owned one but my dad had 2 which were CJ5 or CJ7s. He had one when he passed away & I wanted it so bad but it was stick shift which I can’t drive so my mom sold it 😪 congrats on your new pup cup chariot - I hope you’re loving it!! ❤

Miles to go before I Jeep…red and white are the best colors for any vehicle. Statistically they are hit less. Silver, gray and black are the worst to have. Noice ride! Tire replacement will be a killer though. But hey, go big or go home. May God bless our President Donald J. Trump!🫡🇺🇸
