Yes they are! Support the Warr boys!

You and the car first, then the videos. We appreciate what ever you do.
I will do my best! If I don't have too much trouble I will post up as much as I can
My Z doesn't get to make it, but at least the transmission does!
I will say nice things to it all week to keep it motivated! Thank you for letting me barrow another transmission. Ill get the 4l80e figured out at some point.

@@Burndown thanks man!
@BurnDown;
Dane Paul am glad that You managed to get some testing done :-)
You did not specify nor show what testing that You performed or ccomplished, though the general, vague word description included some problem or issue with the transmisiion that You had rebuilt installed then installed another from Jason that he had in his 240Z. Also included within the description was rearming the specific differences between the torque converters stal engine sipped which Youn mentioned an issue with "blowing through".
Dane Paul, You stated the intent desire to just achieve 9.99 sec ET 1/4 mil for each day, all week for RMRW1.0 2024.
Why are You significantly understating the hopes, desires with th "Maliboom" with ET performance ? :-o
We all know, remember the various 1/4 mile track performances at least since You first RMRW in which You had to limit the ET to 10.0 sec along with LS Fest 2023, 2024, RMRW 2023, with mid 9 sec 1/4 mile passes consistently previous drive train, converter, transmission, engine set ups, etc. Which had less than optimal launch, 60 ft performance with 150+ MPH TS which indicates the vehicle will certainly achieve low 9 sec to 9.0xx sec passes with improved launch.
Why do You still remain so conservative with projected performance and settings ?
All The Best with You travel eastward through the lower Rocky Mountains for RMRW 1.0 2024 alon with another enjoyable event with Your wife.
Are You having Your son join this time too ?
I will remain conservative with the car till I have my own transmission I'm failure with in the car and I have enough seat time and launches to be comfortable with it. No reason to beat up parts that are loaned to me. Last year I broke the converter I borrowed and had to replace it and transmission parts are not cheap so if I have to replace things I would like to replace my stuff and not have to buy things twice is all.
@@Burndown As stated, You have already proven with Your own parts and borrowed parts far more, better performance with 'conservative' settings.
Also, Your claim about damage to another component, if that one is Your to begin with or from another that allowed You to use, the cost is still the same.
=replacing the damaged component, plus component which was damaged => still two components either way.
Also a proper assessment, selection of the components for the desired, intended use, power, torque, with the margins [as a proper mechanic, technician, crew chief, certainly engineer achieves better, reliable, attainable results with far less damage, cost, that common "Trial & Error" process = Failure.
It is certainly worthwhile to also view those with extensive drag racing experience as Jeff & Jeffrey Lutz, Larry Larson, Justin Shearer [Big Chief] especially a research, development, engineer David Vizard among others too.
All The Best, Sincerely
Good luck this weekend
Thank you!
