In Trang Province, the food is similar to Hat Yai, Phuket, Betong, and Penang because there are many Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, and Hainanese people living here.

Hello, Kunisa. You're right because geographically, Trang was located close to those places you mentioned. Therefore, the food culture was quite similar. That's interesting to know you are actually a Thai Chinese. I'm of Teochew clan and my family name is Tan. From my knowledge, in places like Malaysia, in the old days, coffeeshops were dominated by Hainanese owners and the food and coffee served from Hainanese coffeeshops were excellent and received top ratings from many people who enjoy patronising these coffeeshops. Thank you for sharing the information Kunisa and your comments were highly appreciated.
