These outfits are fantastic, and I love your flapperesque style! I'm a big fan of lazy clothes because I work from home. Black bike shorts and t-shirts are my main thing. I loved getting some inspiration from this video for outfits when I'm feeling like going out and putting in effort. Lol
I wear white, red and purple in the summer. Cotton dresses work wonders. Especially if they are loose. When I was younger, I wore black all summer and also when I lived in Southern CA. I think I have branched out now out of a need not to explore when the heat is 90.
You remind me about the old, silent movie Hollywood Stars with that makeup look and hair... Great Summer suggestions too. Even if I prefer to hide my arms! Loved the diy top with safety pins. And you really suit in black and red. Stay safe and have a great weekend Vane 🦇🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤🦇
Thank you so much for this video, it's very inspiring ! I never know how to dress in summer as an alternative all black clothes addict. Love all the looks and your 1920s goth vibe, earned a subscriber ! (The first outfit with the skinny puppy cap reminds of Nana Osaki so much)
@@nharber9837 yes! I meant to mention fabrics but that's one thing I'm bad about finding is good fabrics like that and staying fashionable while only thrifting lol it's why I do end up wearing my 100% cotton t shirts and tank tops most of the time
I read somewhere that if your tights or whatever feel itchy, you can soak them in water & fabric softener. But I haven't tried it yet. As always, I love your style. 🖤
Thank you Vane! You look amazing in all of the outfits. May I also compliment you on your incredible talent when putting these wonderful outfits together, love from Devon, UK 💜
Oh my goodness. These are wonderful. The silent film/1920s vibes are strong here Your hair and makeup makes me think of Columbia in Rocky Horror. :) Beautiful. I'll definately be revisiting this video when I need some ideas. Oh and I can't help but notice your posters of Jarvis Cocker, Adam Ant and and Robert Smith. I have witnessed all 3 in real life at their gigs and they are just as gorgeous as they are on those posters. Ha ha. Definately style and music icons for me.
@@funeralgothatoo5814 Thank you! I actually did an outfit inspired by Columbia in another video lol I've only seen Adam live, need to see the other two so bad!
Those first tights with random patterns are typically called distressed tights/fishnets! I think I lost mine. Also I love that you are a big IAMX fan, I don't see many people that even listen to them so I was stoked when I was first watching your videos. I don't listen to them as much anymore but it makes me happy
@@connstaince Thanks! I tend to forget things like that while filming my videos lol And yes I'm a big fan and have seen them live four times! And it's why I'm goth now because I saw goths attending the shows!
@@IndigoRaven-zx8hp I am well aware, and if you had watched my other videos or my shorts that have tons of goth music ranging from dark wave to ethereal wave etc you wouldn't need to rudely comment on my video assuming I'm unaware of a subcultures basis after 12 years of listening to the music. I am just a goth who also enjoys thrifting and fashion and if that's not for you, you can leave.
Honestly kinda funny considering there's literally music related DIY in this video (Depeche Mode may not be a goth band per se, but they are well liked within the subculture)
@KaiDecadence yeah. fair comment, I definitely should have worded that better! Edit: Hopefully, you still understand the point of my post was in defence of the creator, and my poor wording doesn't detract from the defence. 😅
i'm so glad i found your channel, ur so gorgeous and creative!

WOW all the outfits are really great, very nice styling, next level to be honest. also nice job painting the Depeche Mode rose.

I will never stop singing the praises of UV blocking parasols! Also, natural fibers! 100% cotton and linen are lovely for keeping cool.

7:51 I have a shredded Dracula shirt that I enjoy wearing in summer. Not sure how to wash it though.
layering is my life and I feel so kind of...well kind of miserable to be honest when the weather is hot because I cant layer up LOL
Me too. I love coats and velvet. I wear boots all summer long. I find they work better than tights for me.

What paint do you use on tank tops? You do great work with recreating the DM and LAM logos.

18:30 Bug spray too!

Goth is a MUSIC based subculture firstly. Fashion is secondary.
