Awesome little collection of sounds there! I have the SC PROJECT on my R1M and after 3 months of waiting for it I actually think it too loud, ppl look at you through the villages, it sounds good when it’s singing and high revs. I actually think the yoshi would be more suited.

IV Exactly, Yamaha call it Crossplane, (CP4) engine in this case, it was developed in the early 00’s and apeared in Moto GP arround 2005 and was brought to Road Bikes in 2008.
The idea of the Crossplane technologie is meant to generate more torque at low RPM due to the different firing time compared to a regular 4cyl bike like the ZX10R, GSXR1000, S1000RR an so on.
And of course it gives you the sound of Rossi‘s M1 on a road legal bike! :)
