How a football pro can't see that Coutinho is a wonderful midfielder, not a striker? !!! He is so talented, in dribbling, in play frames, throws, mid-range kicks !! Valverde wasted, a precious diamond. He is , realy amazing!!!!!

Signing for Barcelona was a huge mistake. His playing style doesnt suit Barcelona at all. He likes to hold onto the ball and takes too long to dictate play. I agree he has great technique, great skills and can give very good long shots but the way he plays will only break the momentum if the team requires fast passing. You can argue that Neymar likes to stop the ball and takes his time at times but Neymar is totally different. Neymar has constant flair in his dribbles and can play fast passing with Barca players.
@@xviian1112 i agree with you. although it could never be a mistake to move to Barca, it didn't help him to play like he used to. his movement and passing all around the pitch gives the team all the more another playmaker in the last third which i think is what took him down as he's not the actual number 10, and his Longshots might break up the play but they're a huge advantage anyway. now with that being said coutinho has not returned to his old form since a long time, you see glimmers of it here and there and in Bayern but he's nowhere to be found really. and with the club short on money i think he should be sold permanently.
@@rafekatchadorian465 ya it is a pity.. for him to shine he has to be the main playmaker but Barca is always about Messi if Messi is still in the team. Teams playing a no.10 and giving almost every ball to that main playmaker are getting rare nowadays. Most big teams have evolved to playing more spontaneous football that involves more players in the buildup which is more unpredictable.

My word how much I loved him when he was with us. At LFC, he would just pull strings I couldn't even imagine. And even this 32 min. video doesn't do justice to his magic.
Coutinho is the second best player after Messi for me . Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. So this is my stance nothing can change that. I love how he dribbles, passes, curls balls and take freekicks

I remember 2017-2018, last Coutinho's half-season in Liverpool. He was a miracle. Technically much stronger than any LFC player. Something like Hazard level if you take EPL. One of the top-5 of the world for sure in 2017

If you want to practice how to play like a midfielder, I think he is the best one that you should learn from. Coutinho has good views, fantastic skills and his well-known volley balls. More than that, he has variable ways to tear apart the defense of the opposite team. Every coach wants a player like him. To some extent, he’s better than Neymar. Obviously, I would definitely watch this video at least five times, maybe more. Nice video! Thanks!

I concur with him being complete but I'm not entirely sure about him being better than Neymar.
His acceleration is also pretty impressive
Watch him in full games. That’s how you’ll properly improve and you’ll truly see the difference between him and Neymar. Coutinho is not even close tbh. He’s good no doubt but a highlight player. When the defense is not opened up and he can’t shoot, he doesn’t unlock defenses the way Neymar can. In open play, he has a good touch but can’t escape from tight areas and actually avoids the tight press.

Coutinho for me is Brazil’s best player. Even better than Neymar. His playmaking skills are incredible, his vision, his technique, his dribbling and ball control, he’s a brilliant footballer! His turns are astonishing and they’re better than Messi’s turns if you ask me. His dribbling may not be as good but it’s still incredible to watch such an amazing talent! Honestly wish he was at man city to replace David Silva since he’s coming to an age where he won’t play the same but there’s still many years to come!

Excellent playmaker when on form which he hasn't been since leaving Liverpool. I'd hate to see us completely burn our bridges with him as Barcelona will have to drop his asking price or their stuck with a player they don't won't. Then l think we should seriously consider bringing him back, I'm sure he'd take a wage cut to make it happen too. For not too high an asking price & a cut in wages he'll return to being our central midfield player maker. A midfield trio of Fabinho, Henderson & Coutinho would be absolutely quality 👌
