    Thanks for this, I forgot the essence of the parallel resistance formula till you mentioned Kirchoff's loop rule, and the voltage is the same across each parallel resistor.

    I love the derivations! I think a lot of physics courses don't include why the equations you learn are what they are, and you do an awesome job doing that!
