Really enjoy these reviews. I'm not a bitter fan but I tried recently at our local micro pub "Orkney best Bitter" and that blew my mind. It was so pale in colour and tasted like a pale dressed as a bitter. So good in fact we drank the pub dry of it in 24 hrs. If you haven't reviewed that I would love to hear your opinion on it.
Ill be grabbing a pack of these to try based on thus review alone 👍
I'll definitely pick this up, just looking at the beer on the video, I can tell the quality.
I'd always watch the review before buying a four pack of craft.... I wish the big supermarkets still sold the individual small cans!
Great review! Looking forward to picking a box up this week!
Sounds like a good one, cheers Simon
I need to give these a try thanks Simon 👍🏻
If (like with this beer), its fantastic, then no, people won't mind the £5-£6 for a 4 pack. However, like me, many people prefer buying individual cans to try. Then, if we dont like it, we've got very little wastage. Unlike the 4 packs where you'll be left to not enjoy the other 3 cans
I wonder if the supermarkets keep an eye on single cans & if a particular beer is popular then they approach the brewer to offer a 4-pack version? Not sure they care about customers that much but it`s a good business decision IMO.
I’m intrigued with the 12 hours in the fridge. Either he got up early 5am or midnight, both strange time to put beer in the fridge. The other option maybe he’s drinking this 8-10am?
Simon has said a few times that he does these reviews in the morning, so it’s quite possible
Bought some today to try . £5.25 with clubcard. Cant wait to try it tomorrow 😁
Extremely drinkable, perfectly thirst-quenching, juicy and sessionable at the same time. A good option for hot summer days, it's a pity that it was released in September...
Sounds like there's plenty in this one to counter the citrus flavours, which I tend to find overbearing in a lot of pale ales. Shame the hot weather's gone as it sounds ideal for enjoying in the garden!
Looks lush
they dont have this in my tescos yet :(
The box is £6 in my Tesco Extra 🤔
Is the cough still from the Silent Hernia Simon ?
Yeah my flappy hernia is definitely permanently broken 🤣
Still despise 330ml cans, should be only for soft drinks 😡
£6.25 in Tesco with your clubcard
£6.25
It sounds like they sent you this for free, the £5 "ball park" figure is a dead giveaway. I don't like the four-pack concept, I wouldn't buy a four pack unless I'd tasted a single can first. It's almost like they think you wouldn't buy a second can so they try to sell you four cans in the first place. That's a dealbreaker for me.
100 percent agreed - nice matching glass to go with it too. The body language in going into North Brewing beers over say a Brewdog or Vocation is stark in comparison.
@@CozzyB lol, YOU watch the video fella, he actually doesn't know what the price is and guesses it's about five pounds. If you're going to criticise watch the video first.
It's very annoying the main four UK supermarket stopped selling individual small cans and mainly 4 packs....the large individual cans are ok, a little expensive, I used to like buying a small can of craft for about £1.50
They took Lost Cosmonauts off the shelves for this. Rubbish in comparison.
I just bought Lost Cos today from Tesco but was at the end of the aisle sale and the last box. 6 quid
@@johnnyg9120Bagged the last three boxes reduced in our local yesterday!
