There is a special item in the bottom of that 12:00 . You can’t fall a distance so great where you take fall damage and die.. if you fall on the platform that is already descending from the ledge, you can go to the bottom without dying..
Tim, love the longer vids. when im busy and cant tune in to the stream it really is nice to feel like i can come back and not miss much, instead of a 20 min snip of what gives me FOMO XD keep it up bro
Tim probably won't give as much to Elden Ring and this type of video since views are lower. Game companies always maximize their profits at the expense of the content which often ruins the product for many. I think catering to casual viewers by just looking at RUclips performance on videos and basing game choices off of that is similar. Hopefully I'm just reading into nothing here and Tim continues to explore this game and other good games, especially ones of this caliber.

Tim kept getting the worst advice, like everyone had a meta build in mind they were driving him to but never bothered explaining the basics? You know things like the wondrous physick, or great runes, or even just the fact you lose your runes when you don't pick them up and die? How many times did Tim go back to find his runes after he already had lost them only to be met with disappointment? I mean he figured it out eventually, but letting him struggle for nothing is not chad behaviour. Tim! You are better off ignoring all of us to be honest!

Tim in the lake where the academy is, where the dragon was guarding the key if you go past that dragon staying in the lake going north (careful of lobsters ) you can skip the redhan fight but there will be a boss fight but you won't have to get the medallion

Hey just so you know, you said your goal was to beat the game before the dlc and do the main story line to do the DLC. You actually only have to beat godrick, rahdon and mohg. And mohg is not required to beat the main game. I personally would recommend to progress and explore to where you get to around lvl 80-120 to beat mohg.
@TimTheTatman for the dlc you need to beat radahn and beat Mogh to have access to the dlc. Devs recommend being around lv 150 before starting enemy’s base stats are scaled around Elden rings end game area. Just a heads up for a brief checklist.
