Very aggressive Terran's are always exciting to watch
It's easy to like Stats. He's positive, good, and respectful to other players--even foreigners. That 3-1 victory understates how close most of those games were. Good on both Stats and Special.
I like Special for those same reasons. They are both fine players and it's such a pleasure watching them both. I hope Special is one day able to get up to Stats' level.

Special is such a good player, but man Stats has top tier stats.
Stats had fun expressions after each game:

Stats after Game 3: "Ohhh K you cheeky bastid"
Stats after Game 4: "Yup"
Love the Stalker play, stats mah boi! He made optimal use of them throughout the games.

Love the "Oh look, Protoss is so OP" crowd. Yes, Protoss has shield batteries and recall... but wait up, what's this, Terran:
- Can create workers that mine more and cost only energy
- Scan anywhere on the map instantly and see even invisible units
- Has units that can shoot further than they can see
- Have a unit that can almost one-shot instakill most gateway units
- Has marines; cyclones and (landed) vikings that have a crazy high DPS.
The whole point of perfect balancing isn't to remove all of the unique abilities that give a race a one-up in certain situations, but making sure that the general scope of the races means that they each have different advantages... Given that the #1 Korean is a Terran, and there's also players like TY, HeRoMaRinE and SpeCial all made it to BlizzCon, sort of highlights that Terran's aren't as disadvantaged as people love to suggest.
No, but a lot of that is off TvZ and tvt. TvP does have some problems. And by no means should the cool uniqeness be removed.

I'll concede to that, and I wouldn't claim that the races are perfect. My comment was because there were a group of people simply saying "Protoss are OP, they got mass recall". Or words to that affect.
The problem you'll find, which makes it impossible for balance teams, is that Pro's will always find the weaknesses in the current meta and exploit and so even if near to perfectly balanced, the pro will make it appear imbalanced. Hence, there's either the current situation of regular revision or you'd have to have near identical races like in WCII.

hi, watching these matches I see that is possible to give multiple command to the units during the scouting. like ask to an scv to go in one direction and once he will reach that point you have already set another point that the scv has to reach. i am a very beginner in this game. How can i do the same? when i use a unit to scouting and i set a direction on the map i can only set one direction per time and after the unit get that point choose another point. how can i do to set multiple point to reach so that in meantime i can do other things? thanks

I think if he would have went ghost/liberator with some emp shots on the stalkers it would have done better then the banshee's. Plus you can scan and pop the observers with a ghost. This style would very well against Zerg though! Good match.

@@reddragon3132 mules are to balance out income. since protoss have crono and zerg have larva/queen inject. Without mules terran would never win a game.

I wonder if they have any fun while playing, it looks more stressful than actual joy. Many of them dont even look happy after a win, they look like ... phew ... I made it.
there is no fun when money is involved.
A lot is at stake. They are totally focused on the task at hand allowing minimal distraction.
You don't celebrate winning in the round of 8 when you know there are two incredibly difficult matches waiting before you're crowned champion. Ever notice how NFL/NHL/NBA players always talk about how much work is left and how they aren't going to celebrate early? It has nothing to do with SC2, it's called professional competition.
@@natecw4164 Actually here in Europe when you pass in the Champions League knock out rounds most players go crazy in jubilation, so I guess there are different ways of tackling immediate success.
@@AurioDK I suppose so. Korean progamers are typically hoping to win the whole thing so RO8 is practically qualifiers (especially against a foreigner). I doubt a Premier League team would celebrate beating the Men's US team.

People keep complaining about Protoss being OP. All special had to do was build ravens and ghosts. Stats would’ve been decimated.

Right. Because spamming debuffs that then need a whole engage to get value will solve instant damage splash and disruptor. Terrans keep trying the stupid proxy's because they know they're disadvantaged vs protoss.

Yeah, this game is basically a different game then when I was first into the scene. So much effing Zerg and like no Protoss and Terran and now both Z/P look like they have 10 different tank counters now. Sad time to be a Terran man :(

@@AllThingsFascinate Lol Heavily favored? PvT in all of october was literally 50.23% Protoss on Aligulac. This entire year it hasn't been worse than 54% and 4 months in the year it was Terran favored statically. Meanwhile also this year PvZ was as low as 57% zerg favored, and TvZ was as low as 55% zerg favored (like it was in September/october). PvT is the statistically most balanced matchup we have right now. And then before terran players/fans start whining like crazy, yes right now terran is lagging, but zerg is universally ahead, and 5 months in 2017 were more terran favored in PvT than the HIGHEST protoss favor this entire year, being as ludicrously bad as 41% Protoss at one point.
You can't just look at that and disregard how op some Terran stuff is, like Ghosts, Dropships, 3-3 Marines etc. This is not SC1, Tanks are not necessarily the backbone of the Terran army here.

You know something is wrong and unbalanced when one guy does all the cool stuff the whole game and gets all of the credit for the good moves yet the protoss still wins.

The protoss recall is a worse gimmick than the mothership core. Absolutely no consequence to pushing out and getting out-positioned on the map.
Floating buildings are the ultimate gimmick. It's nice that base trades against terrans aren't auto losses anymore. 5 minute cooldown is perfectly balanced enough.
Anthony Schroeder i dont like the floating building draws either but its going to be balanced and it only effected 1 in 1000 games before vs recall which can be used every 4 minutes per protoss game
