It was a bit trial and error tbh. I just extended mine as you see in the video to fit the shade I found. If not just measure them as is and buy one who’s base us same size

Thank you for doing this ikea hack. I have got a beautiful marble lamp base from an old broken lamp. And I want to use the base again, but I couldn't work out how to do it. 🤔 Now i can use my base and the main lamp centre peace, then up cycle, an old lampshade.
