Malik should be worked back into the lineup in more of a Sixth Man, Supersub role, keeping only one big on the floor for the vast majority of the time.

Mr fischer got IT EXACTLY right...addition by subtraction...Jay bilas once described being a good teammate isn't about how you become better but how you make your team better

    Isn't Tennessee in Tennessee a quad 1?

I think, as the coach; Woody should decide who he wants to start each and every game!

He gets to do that now. I think you have missed the point of the discussion.

Finally watched a game in full. Have been watching only highlight films. IU seems to do well against a team that doesn't play much defense and relies on outscoring the opposition. Of course, IU is also a team that doesn't play much defense and relies on scoring. College basketballl at the "higher levels" has become NBA lite, the players performing for the scouts and a shot at being selected in the draft as opposed to winning games. Unfortunately, the style of play isn't interesting to watch. If NBA style basketball is what a fan wants to watch, better choice would be to watch the NBA. I don't, so perhaps I'll just wait for the return of baseball.

IU and rich alums are paying $20M+/yr for coaching staff and players and why is this better, more open, ball mvt play and shooting success being discovered somewhat by accident, not by IU's very expensive coaching staff? This is not a trivial observation and why a coaching change WAS indicated last Spring. Woody is still too NBA like - he mails it in from the fairways and businesses he owns, it seems. He's clearly not been engaged w a process of game play that works!

I disagree that Myles Rice is 'stabilizing'. He plays way too helter-skelter, X like. He drives to no where w/ no court vision. That's not competent, in control, PG work - it's stupid bball and is a net negative for consistent winning!
