Not water soluble means that when they dry you can’t move them with water, they are permanent. Watercolour is not permanent, it can be moved with water once dry. Of course they are water mixable, which I think is what you were getting confused about.
I have the same set as yours and like it but they always explore a little when you reopen them so I've learned to use a papertowel and not open them close to my painting!
On any top that has that type seal, use your exacto or something similar. punch a hole in the middle, then with the blade go around underneath. most will pop off. If not you have to resort to cutting as you did.
Hi there! Yes, kind of...this video where I took an 10Hundred's painting class used them ruclips.net/video/X5SdtBiyZSQ/видео.html so they are featured there. However, I don't think that's quite what you're likely looking for. I will put it on my list of videos to make!
@@RebelUnicornCrafts That would be so nice... I just received the same set for my bday and was looking for some inspiration and guidance. You're so talented. Thank you.
I bought these and was confused. I thought these would make great paints to do abstract with but then read they are for airbrushing, pouring and splattering and once they dried they seemed to be pretty dull and did not lay over other colors very nicely. They kind of changed the over all color when laid on top of each other but were not very moveable to create patterns and layers. I saw some people doing landscapes with these colors and they looked nice but do you think you could do abstract art with these ? I set mine aside because I did not want to waste them and have used them as stains over soft body acrylic or to create drips.
Quinacridone is pronounced Qwin ak row done (like dome) - all the Quinacridones are gorgeous rich colours. I especially love Quinacridone Magenta with some Yellow 💕
These are tiny, but they go a surprisingly long way! With this little set I have done some testing, 3 -5x7 paintings and right now my husband and I are each painting an 11x14 panel and I think we'll still have about 1/4 or 1/2 of the bottle left after all that on most colors! I do think we will run out of white.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts you Can buy in larger container, the cost per oz decrease, they are top pigmented, with top pigments, you pays for one of the highest quality fluid paint, if not the highest, all product from golden is superior quality paint and medium, exceptionnal acrylic, some brand for some color i have test Came close but Never beat golden, the customer service is premium like their paint
Golden's blog introducing the new yellows (they're replacing the Hansas because they aren't lightfast enough) says you can pronounce them like "Benji, my dad's alone".
This set doesn't specifically say high-gloss, but they do dry really shiny if you you paint them on a smooth surface. When painting on canvas or paper, there's less gloss.
I fell asleep the first few seconds of this video. I just want to know how the paint flows, coverage, dries, etc. We know how to open a bottle of paint. Snooze fest.

Great tip!
Quinacridone Kwin-ak-rid=own Does that help? lol
It does...this name is like Worcestershire in my brain, I always say it wrong.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts You mean Wuss - ta - sheer ;)
@@caroldoran1821 In my head it will always be Worse-Chester- Shire. I got that from my Granny. ;)
I also really struggled getting the seals off..
It's such a pain, right?! I want to use them now and also don't want to waste them! But, it is better than getting dried out paint I guess lol.

Hi... did you ever post another video using the set of golden fluid acrylics?

Can you tell me what the stripes mean on the bottle? Opaque, semi opaque etc? Thank you
Yes, exactly, it shows you how the paint looks over a black and white background.
I love ten hun

Only 1oz tubes?? That seems so highly priced. Do those last a while? Can you make medium to large sized pieces with those small of tubes?

Interesting! I will have to check it out!
How do I find the blog? Thank you
I hate taking caps off!
I totally understand.
To help with your pronunciation: "quin-a-cri-done" Soft vowels on everything but the O
Also the "Ph" in Phthalo is silent.
Qwin-nack-cri-done (done like drone) :)

This was years ago learning to make videos is hard, I'm not sure why you needed to be so rude when you could have just fast forwarded.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts Don't worry. I fall asleep reading comments like his.
