Awwwww que recuerdos dios mio¡¡¡ Esta película la vimos con mis hermanos cuando éramos muy jovencitos, mi mama alquilaba la película para verla en aquel tiempo todavía imaginese jajaajaj vaya que si paso el tiempo, con esta película y otras mas, fue que aprendimos a leer los subtítulos y es que no había de otra si queríamos entender lo que estaba pasando jajaajaj por obligación tuvimos que aprender ja leer rapido ajaajaja. Esta es una película muy divertida y graciosa en su mayoría por las ocurrencias de Geeta, pero al inicio si que da mucha pena y mucha cólera e impotencia por tanto sufrimiento con Seeta. La verdad es que si bien lo que hizo geeta estuvo mal ya que usurpo un lugar de alguien y eso es delito, en este caso la frase El FIN JUSTIFICA LOS MEDIOS creo que va acorde, ella solo hizo justicia y les dio una cucharada de su propia medicina a esa sarta de vagos que era su familia, empezando por la tía, esa gorda maldita aprovechadora y la vaga de su hija, su esposo no era malo, pero si era culpable en parte por permitir tanta humillación y maltrato, debió ponerse los pantalones desde un principio y dejar de ser un pisado. Por otra parte seeta si bien me daba pena creo que fue egoísta con su abuelita, prácticamente la dejo a su suerte, solo pensó en ella y su sufrimiento y no en el que le causaría a su pobre abuelita, puedo entenderla también ya que lo que le hicieron fue demasiado, pero después cuando ya se sintió mejor era que pensara mejor las cosas y volviera con su abuela y la policía contando todo, muy sumisa y no tenia valor, pero bueno tanto maltrato también la volvió así seguro. En conclusión me hubiera gustado una escena donde seeta se reencontraba con su abuela y le pedía perdón por abandonarla y mas aun que quería suicidarse, otra escena donde se ponga fuerte y enfrentaba por lo menos una vez a su tía, no tanto como geeta ya que son diferentes, Geeta fue criada en libertad y con mucho amor por parte de su madre y padre adoptivo, se hizo fuerte en esa humildad en la que vivían y eso le hizo ser quien era, una mujer valiente y con amor propio. En cambio Seeta después de la muerte de sus padres solo fue sufrimiento tras sufrimiento con esa familia si es que se le puede llamar familia a esa gente, también me hubiera gustado ver un enfrentamiento con la madre de geeta, ya que esa señora si que cometió el peor de los delitos, le robo un hijo a una familia, debió tener también un castigo esa señora, por lo menos una llamada de atención, al final todo es una película lo se, pero son cosas que me hubiera gustado ver. Acabo de terminar de ver la película y fue así sin subtítulos porque no los tiene, pero no puedo creer lo bien que están gran parte de todo lo que dicen en mi memoria, casi casi como si entendiera el idioma jajajaja enserio que recuerdo lo que dicen en cada escena, ya se quedo en mi memoria a largo plazo, y es que la repetimos tantas veces cuando niños que inconscientemente ya quedo grabada en mis recuerdos. Soy de Latinoamérica mi pais es PERU y aquí a muchos nos gusta las películas de la india y mas estas antiguas que son unas joyas.

Seeta Aur Geeta was released almost exactly 50 years ago on Friday 3rd November 1972 in Mumbai at the Minerva Cinema, which had re- opened on 31st March 1972 after being pulled down and renovated. It was the first Hindi movie to be released at the Strand Cinema under the new Indian management. Strand Cinema had been under the management of MGM prior to that and used to screen only English movies but many theatres in Mumbai screening English movies were sold off after the Indian Government refused to renew its contract with the American Pictures Export Association. The film ran for a Silver Jubilee at the Minerva and was a runaway hit. It is one of those films which one can see again and again without losing interest in the film, purely because of its entertainment value. The music was by R. D. Burman, a lot of whose films were released in 1972 after his success with films like Hare Rama Hare Krishna and Amar Prem very early in 1972. R D Burman then went on to give popular musical scores later in 1972 like Bombay to Goa, Jawani Deewani, Rampur Ka Lakshman, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Parichay and Apna Desh. Those times were unique and the films such as seen in those days will never be made again. Bombay Doordarshan had just started its Black & White transmission on 2nd October 1972 and was only showing one movie on Sunday evening, the first telecast being of Shailendra's "Teesri Kasam". Theatre managements and black marketeers ruled the roost and one had to go to a theatre if one wished to see a movie. Many theatres were still without air conditioning and the cinegoer had to sweat it out to view a recently released movie.
