I found myself getting beat on the crossing slants patterns during user games a lot. I was trying to adjust my hook zones between 5-10, but they kept getting past my LB/SS. I did get a few animation picks, but would get taken down the field quite a bit while trying to just user the safety.

Great video bro! A lot of great info here…have you ever thought of running this type of defense out of DB Fire 2? You can put the two blitzing slot CBs in curl flats and leave the two deep blues? Could help against streaks?
The main reason I don’t run db fire is because the way the safety’s play. The middle of the field is open. Don’t get me wrong I do mix in db fire tho
Like if I know they are gonna run the streak out side the numbers and I wanna double Mable then yea I’ll run a db fire set up

Hey bro in setting purples against Spread sets, do you suggest 10 yards or 15 yards? I know you said 15 for Empty sets.
I usually go 15 but I’ll adjust depending on what my opponent does with his routes

yo i’m loving the defense but just a couple questions:
1.If they’re running the ball down your throat what do you do? I was thinking reset the play so the dbs play lower but it hasn’t worked great for me
2.The deep middle seems to get open a lot under the safeties what you recommend for that?
I usually do a good job of shutting the run down with the setup. You gotta move that dline around and learn the gap shoots with your user. As for the deep ball under the safety’s that’s why I used one of the safety’s. I get a lot of picks when they throw post routes or crossing routes that would beat the safety’s if you don’t user one of them
i ran this for a few games and its was cool but i did get cooked by the TE wheel route bro but it was my fault for not man that route
Yea when you get your user right and you start understand what they can do out of this formation or that formation you learn what to bait and them jump on another route

Usually when I go against trips, spread or empty I put my purples at 15
Nobody will disengage if you don’t rush 4. Do you ever blitz your user?
I mix in a lot of blitzes
In Spread sets with 4 wr and a RB in the backfield, do you leave the purples at 5 yards?

Hey bro, I'm getting confused about what to set the purples on by formation. I know it starts at 5 yards. Could you explain it more?
If your going against tight formations where there’s no WR outside the numbers on both side of the ball always put your purples at 5. If you go agains a formation where there’s WR outside the numbers on both sides on the ball put your purples around 10 to 15 depending on what your opp is favoriting with his routes

When no one is outside the numbers and my flats are on 25 does it matter if I put a cloud flat or soft squat ?
Soft squats are better because the corner is backed off and they just play better with a soft squat

Drosagaming but I don’t stream there. I stream on tik tok and drop videos daily there. It’s the same thing to drosagaming
The biggest issue Ive had running this has been someone getting open on a corner route. Usually when they get a little time to throw and some guys clear out the zones. Even if i shade outside it still seems to get open. If I user to protect they just eat up the middle.
Just to add to this I'm referring to when I leave the 4 deep and don't convert to baby blues. It's more when the line is more spread not tight like in your example.
@@Kbn1985 yea when you go against spread or empty put your curl flats (purple zones) at 15 to depending on what your opp is favoring. They play those corners and crossers a lot better
