You hit the nail on the head, this is just a chapter of your life, don’t be hard on yourself. I live in a flat (rented) and although it’s not where I planned to be, it’s a home and it’s safe and it allows me to live and enjoy other parts of my life that I want. If living in an apartment brings balance and allows you to have joy in other parts of your life, then it’s a good thing. ❤

Really late to the party here... I can feel your exhaustion through the screen. Don't forget that we're all going through some kind of weird reset. I don't know any conscious people who are not going through some huge challenges right now. The karmic fires are burning hot at this moment. We are all in it with you! You're doing it and you're making it through and I have all the faith in the world that this is going to turn out the way that's for your highest and best. It's really interesting to watch the truth of your journey. It helps others not feel so alone. You could think of this channel as a Sacred Space and a way of being of service. Don't forget that this channel is more than just income. It is difficult to thrive when you're struggling to survive. Being a beacon of inspiration is not about being perfect. What I like about your channel is seeing the truth. I love being a witness to the beauty and I love being witness to all the warts. I love the feeling of listening to someone talking about the way they feel and think. Which often matches how I feel and think, and also gives me different perspectives. You got this!!!
Yesss! I for sure see this space as sacred and also why so much of me doesn’t want to give it up. I really enjoy making the videos and over the last year it hasn’t become about money, but that being the case I still need money to come through in other avenues of life. I am grateful to share and be vulnerable here and also inspire people…for years I have been told that is a part of my purpose and I really enjoy my authentic expression and the impact being inspiration 💕
From what I’ve seen of your parenting ( and I have 5 grown children), I think you both do a phenomenal job. You are always including her in your projects and teaching her new things. I feel I was a super Mom, but I absolutely needed my alone time. I looked forward to them going to school and looked forward to them coming home. Just because one is a parent doesn’t mean that you completely give up being yourself. The children’s needs have to come first but that is best accomplished when the parents are recharged. Hats off to you and Justin. Love is everything.

I really felt this one, Juby. "I'm not the mom I thought I would be." Yes. I'm there. Homeschooling vs regular school, self care balance, never having enough time for anything, and making big mistakes along the way. But I want to say to you (& to myself): you're doing great! I appreciate your authenticity as always.
I had this dream of living tiny in a converted RV with my daughter, and it turned out to be such a headache... Not even close to a big house reno like yours, but, like you guys, I made it mine, with all the colors and patterns and spent lots of time and money on it, when I could've just painted it white, cut corners, and made it ready to sell a long ago. Now that I've decided to sell it, even with all the work that still needs to be done, and knowing I'll probably just break even, I do feel that sense of relief, combined with the self blame of ever having taken it on in the first place. But like you said - lessons learned! Instead, I'm having a small house built on my parents' property near Charlotte. I'm hiring professionals (**that I know and trust). Yes, it's way more expensive, but I know it will be much better in the long run. Here's to the light at the end of the tunnel - for you, me, and everyone here!
House renovation can be really hard. Seeing how big their house is really made my heart drop. Plus Jubys attention to detail. But I suppose they honestly thought it might be a family home. It's easy to become blinkered about these things and lose perspective
The cost of living these days is absolutely crazy! I can relate to almost everything you've talked about here. Just wanted you to know that you're not alone in being at a bit of a crossroads in your thirties. Admitting mistakes or defeat, trying out new things until finding what works for you is admirable, especially with a young family in tow. My husband and I have avoided renting for 5 years due to the high costs involved, but we've decided to return to renting in the city because being isolated is so damn hard! I can really empathise with you there. Although things didn't work out as planned, you have created the most beautiful home, and gained insight into what matters most to all of you. Wishing you a low-stress move, a successful house sale, and a bucket load of positivity for this new chapter of your lives. x

I was seriously looking into living in a somewhat tiny house situation, but i am now renting a family home with three bedrooms (which was possible due to 13 years of being on a waiting list) I felt a bit strange about that too, but it allows me to try out a new situation, with more space to create, have people stay over and experiment. I feel grateful to have the opportunity to see what this will bring (out in) me. And i still have the same dreams and values, that hasn’t changed. I am sooo looking forward what this next phase will bring you too! Good luck with everything and big hug from the Netherlands! 🤗🌸

Another really nice and interesting video! Thank you so much for your honesty. While you were talking I realized that I don't follow your channel for your lifestyle, but truly for you. I don't really care if you live in a bus, in an appartment or in a dumpster. I'm interested in your views of life, motherhood, relationships, creativity and so on. Social media often puts so much pressure on people and creates so many wrong images of whats portrayed as perfect life. Your channel definitly breaks with that. I actually was in a RUclips short swipe situation and a meditation I recorded popped up from my moon flower child space and it definitely shook me out of my own time waste and actually meditate on my breath ... grateful & proud that was something that I created and that it broke the social media standard for me in that moment, I needed it ✨

You guys are right where you need to be!!! Keep going and dont feel like making adjustments to life, big or small is moving backwards. I'm saying this because we moved to Peru with our nearly teen girls and we started a business and invested a whole lot of money here in Peru on a hunch from others. Don't listen to anyone and do what you and your family feel is right. You learnt a lot from this experience and all of us at this stage of life are doing things that help us grow. Take care and just do whay feels right ❤️❤️❤️

I had to leave a house in the 80's just barely breaking even after a job loss. It's a chapter I would never want to go through again, but blessings came out of the experience, and for those, I am thankful. Look for the blessings. ❤

OK, 12 min.watching... Juby, don't say it was mistake for dreaming BIG, just size the portion next time . I even think, when you buy a new house next time, it would be just one room less... So, don't rush just because of the money what is next, but take a holiday a go somewhere, come back and rethink everything new. Maybe this sommer will be very productive, just size the portion of possibilities going to far, dreaming to big, catching to much projects at once, focus, prioritize, get a list, yes a list again, pro and cons... Good Luck and feel more, think less, have a break from everything from time to time. 👍

Hey Juby, I remember following you when it all started and you guys were living in a bus....wow, the time flew by. I also bought an old property that needed renovation, and it's been much more challenging than I imagined, I cried for the first two weeks of moving into my home because I lived through a pine marten infestation and everything breaking down, had to change the pipes, replace the roof - it was super challenging. I feel your pain and exhaustion, I've been there! Now, that I'm almost finished, I feel a huge wave of accomplishment and can't wait to host my friends and look at old photos with pine marten poops with a smile haha Just reminding you that everything always works out for the best... even if it doesn't seem at that particular moment, you will benefit from this experience greatly, nothing was wasted and your effort didn't go in vain. Please take care of yourself first! Wishing you easier times ahead! Big Hug xx

You could still do airbnb with your home. Sometimes people temporarily want to live in a place for business, family business, work. Airbnb can find you a renter that is not destructive and would rent for a month or 2 at a time. And then if that renter moves on you could find another...until you sell the place.

I like the vibes, vlogs and traveling trips. I was watching every video over and over again. However I stopped watching ur channel like 1-2 year ago, I've been through rough times, I was low at my mental and physical state. I felt so sad and sorry that I was not capable of watching the videos. I tried to push myself, cause I wanted to keep myself on track, not to be like out of context. But it did not work and I had to resolve my things first. Now I wanna come back, I really missed the red pepper bus. I love creativity and that ur having small bussiness, it really inspires me that I really wanna do someday in future. I know it's hard but I think when someone takes care of them and loves the job then it can make it better. I think that u and Justin are lovely people. Hello there, greetings from an American in Vietnam. I'm watching your video at the moment, and I can tell you that another problem you could have in Costa Rica or Mexico is when you decide to leave the country for extended vacations, etc., you have to have house sitters or else you'll get squatters. I know exactly how you feel about this isolation, having lived abroad since 2012, the first four years I was very lucky and I had most of my people in the same place, but after that my community became very transient.
Transient community is something we noticed with Mexico - was hard to form friends because people were always leaving

I would love to see you post yoga videos if you do that. Yeah I have a 8 mo old and the child’s father bought a 53000 house shed and side building on a acre. Very small house, I watched the redo of the bathroom and it gave me faith but a pipe busted and nothings been done since about the beginning of my pregnancy. I would totally support your small business. Yoga mats yay! Post yoga videos plz, with a young baby I can’t get out much so I watch the main stream ones and would feel like I got it from an actual instructor. Just the simple & good vibes in a couple classes I’ve done! Doing yoga with my baby and your daughter too if she wants. Don’t worry about a timeline. You put out such a positive vibe. My fathers child works as a scrub tech and I promise it’s very easy and he does them all day I promise they will take care of her❤ momma anxiety ( no longer together and the economy is insane I’m so happy for you that Justin Is taking amazing care of y’all) my brother does the same! We could never agree what to do with the property (bad roof bad flooring and bad foundation) (no inspection and he didn’t listen to me) and I’m so happy y’all can make peace over it🙌 y’all are the best team. You’re grounded along with your family. Y’all make the perfect team❤

The ear tubes are really no big deal getting them in. She will be a little bit sleepy after from the anesthesia and probably within a couple hours you won’t even notice anything different from her normal. I had tubes as a small child and then again as a teenager. When I got them as a teenager, I was awake and it literally felt like a bee sting in my ears. Afterwords I went to lunch and shopping with my Mom and my Aunt. One caveat…. EARPLUGS ARE A NONNEGOTIABLE MUST any time she is going to be in or around water. Trust me… I learned that the hard way. The infections that come from getting water in the tubes are 10,000 times worse than any infection I ever had before tubes. Also, after a couple years especially, you want to have her checked often to see if the tubes are growing out (they are supposed to do that, no big deal) and that the holes are closing properly. Most of the time they will, but if they don’t close properly, it can cause some damage to hearing and issues with inner ear problems. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s really not a big deal as long as she wears her plugs and you continue with her aftercare with her ENT for the next few years.
I head about the earplugs and azalea is keen to listen to the doc who said it was important so we are on it! Thank you for the support here…i know everything will be fine
I had to sell my house, too. We had a murder happen across the street and 3 of the bullets came through the front . One made it through to the bathroom. Right where one would be sitting on the toilet. One grazed my late husband (he died later unrelated), any closer would have killed him then when I was 8 mos pregnant. They were also building a gas station next door, that o tried to fight but the only person on my side was the line female council member. It had a huge backyard, a second floor, rumpus room in the basement. A POND, FIREPIT, pool table in the basement, space for a gym down there too. Huge garden plot. Had so many plans! Then I was taking care of it myself with a baby as a widow in grief with a baby! I downsized to an affordable 1 bedroom and sleep in the living room behind a partition. It's a safe area with community events and plays paces, parks, etc, the school system is top notch and neighborhood school is walkable. Rent kept creeping up and I'm still living off of SS survivors benefits because I haven't been able to work with her so young and the time with my kid is even more important as her sole parent. I miss my retro stove/fridge kitchen and everything else. I don't miss the ptsd and feeling unsafe in my own house and isolation. Although my only complaint here besides rent rising a d lack of space, is that it's 99% white and pretty wealthy community so I feel isolated still, unable to find people to relate to (or time to have adult time) . As my daughter was in school half days for k4 this year, I decided to try going back to school online. I did great in school, but the cost was 3 days a week she was at on school daycare in the mornings and her behavior suffered because of yelling by some of those watching, and mimicking naughty kids, plus lack of attention from me compared to what she was getting before. Some of it was the normal challenging behavior for her age group as well, but towards the end I had 0 minutes of freetine in a day, stressed out and exhausted to have real quality time and focus on how I can change my behavior to better suit her needs ! Also no time to meditate and couldn't get into the mindset when I did for meditating or for sleep. It was nuts. Couldn't keep up with house stuff either. Finally I am free and decided the skills I gained from the classes in graphic design were enough to do what I wanted to do, and I wouldn't be returning in fall. She also had been sick back to back and most recently the MD brought up the possibilities of ear tubes! She was never sick before school, and literally it's back to back with us both being ill. I also had a painful surgery I couldn't take painkillers for related to repair from pregnancy. I decided to camp as much as possible and do easy free things in nature this summer and not put her in summer school because I can't take any more illnesses! She's super social and loves school, she's the class favorite of all the kids. If she didnt love school so much id consider homeschool. ANYWAY, I appreciate you sharing your struggles because nobody is really talking about it and it feels good to know we are all going through similar challenges and finding ways to live more simply and make things work for us.

Chessnut Collectiv sounds like local happening, not like international zoom all around the world at one time. My advise for Justin... He should focus on woman as bee keepers, queens are the queens , they accomlish more in time, they don't give up the calls of nature as easy, basically woman are goal keepers in life. As for the cook book nr 2. Bus journey in Jully and August is great opportunity to collect some recipies and make some food and meal pictures 😁 Why not? 👍

On living situations and expense/location of it all: I have noticed your whole family seemed so much happier and had high vibrations happening when you all had the bus life living. Being in a high vibration mode causes everything to line up and flow smoothly, and it all was then. So it seems unfortunate that you guys couldn't find a friend's yard near Raleigh to park Peppa at, chill with the bus life until the house sells, take the house selling money to buy land in Raleigh to park Peppa on, live the low cost/high vibing bus life on your land meanwhile saving up money and Justin's bee keeping business would be right on hand and close by. P.S- I'm a Scorpio too. I also feel like the reason the y-tube subs and views went down is because when you bought this big house, the whole "free spirit living/bus life" stopped. You visually tightened up, packed in the stress load, and basically your channel became a home fix-it blog. I feel a lot of the fan view base your channel had, was because they sought that adventure and bus living content. I found you folks because of having and seeking interest in bus life. I stayed watching because I really admire and Love your style and grace walking through life. You guys rock! Raise that energy vibration and things will all start to flow better again.
I find it rather perplexing that after 1 hour of spilling your guts regarding how you both have been completely overwhelmed the past two years, and will be attempting to pull back in an effort to repair and simplify your lives and relationship readers are asking when you will resume previous activities and you are also getting pretty excited about doing so…… swim suits, chats, fragrances, DJing, etc. who even listens anymore? Definitely would be a fun project. Just not sure if we are ready for a long term commitment like that. We are already in the space of long term commitment for school and it feels like a lot as it is. We still want to manifest some sort of alternative lifestyle within a lifestyle that fits our needs…learning as we go.
Im married and together with my husband for over 30 years and their was sometimes i think we wouldn't make it but we did and it was hard your doing the best you can as your hubby is everything will come together it just take time you will be ok ❤

I had also go into an appartement after living in bigger houses with my family. Now I live in a small appartement and kind of loving the simplicity and recover from exhausting last years of divorce and moving during Pandemic to Germany. Miracles found me along the way. I made life more simple and fortified peace. Although my inner nomad that traveled all my life turning 44 made me realize, I enjoy the slower pace and roots are more important then I gave them credit for. I guess there is a season for everything. Love you and your sweeties a lot and Wishing all the best. ❤❤❤

$800 for a 2bdrm house literally anywhere now would be insanely cheap and I highly doubt you could even find that anyhow. And I live in New Mexico, one of the cheapest states in the US. I pay $1500 for an old 2ndrm, no utilities included.
You need to charge money for those sessions because people do not value what they don't pay for

There's got to be a school closer to the land for the bus than 40 minutes? Seems like you are doing things the hard way. I mean a mortgage and rent? Definitely not the best house in the worst part of town, we knew we were taking a risk, but didn’t think it would be this bad. We have lived in slightly run down neighborhoods before so we have experienced a lot in the past but this was next level for sure. Lessons learnt
Oh man…I know it’s all relative, but I WISH rent here was $1300 for a 2 BR. We’re near Burlington VT, and a 2 BR home is starting at $4000+ per month. It’s insane, and really discouraging since we’re in the same boat in wanting to sell our current home. No idea what we’ll do after though…

That’s the normal for weekly in Aus especially an apartment. I live in Brisbane Australia and we live 30 mins out of the city and pay $510 weekly for a 4 bedroom 2 bath and 2 car garage ..
Not just in the States is expensive, the inflation in Australia is bloody horrid 😑

A wife should be concerned about her husband's well being, and do whatever she is able to relieve.... and vice versa. When you love someone, you do things to try and alleviate that person's burdens where and when you can.
