I think Macie got saved cause the reason the ban wave was so big was so many people were using the same renown exploit that he did (at least 10s of thousands and only PC which was 25% of siege Playerbase at the time, meaning it was a large minority of all players on PC). Everyone else that got banned claimed exactly the same as Macie, saying someone else must have signed them up without their knowledge. Of the 10s of thousands of banned accounts, Macie was unbanned within a day, no one else go unbanned. Just seemed suspicious and then there was no comment from Ubi about the matter only Macie saying someone else signed them up on a list and thats it. Whole thing just seemed fishy around both that ban and the Shaiiko ban.
My 8 year old ID got banned for "botting" last season while having a 0.9 KD last season and had the worst support experience aswell, so I don't put much faith in Ubisofts methods.
@@ChiGodd Botting means using scripts or other programs to cheat or to farm renown. I played 5 stack all season, so no I did not team kill my friends and throw matches. My reputation was fine and the most toxicity I did was occasional ez and gn in all chat. It's a level 370 account with over 200k renown unused so I didn't farm renowns either.

My friend got banned years ago for having a shitty pc and having windows crash on him, never took the game seriously since, operation health killed this game in so many ways.
Shaiiko was cheating the amount of inputs per second was not possible with key presses, second of all why would he have his button to activate hibana pellets on a different key then the one he uses for operator gadgets. The proof of using macro is not debatable nor the reason why he would spam a button that does nothing and even if he did rebind it why to a button that would require him to move his hand from wasd.
Just admit you don't know what you're talking about and move on. 1. Siege players tilt their keyboard at extreme angles so hitting the 4 key wouldn't be any more difficult than the W key. 2. You absolutely can spam a key that fast, see cookie clicker world record lmao. 3. Changing the Hibana keybind isn't strange either, because it's the first thing I did when playing her. Shaiiko was stomping Pengu and making him look like a man-baby, so Pengu decided to embrace that label and accuse him of cheating because he's a sore loser. You already knew that though, because there was never any evidence he cheated.

No one and i mean no one is spamming hibanas gadget mid gunfight as it would make you put your gun away. Second of all his macro was detected by moss and anticheat that checks pc files actively while you play and is required to play in esl leagues. The only people who think he didnt cheat are people who dont play high elo. Also just to be clear he is still the goat and one of the greatest players to touch the game. He was just using it to get a minor advantage that he definitely didnt need. Hes also not the only player to do it in pl but thats a different convo
For the AceeZ situation, AceeZ was using a secondary monitor that gave himself more info such as walls. Kinda shocked all of us in the PL community because the fact that this guy was at one point the greatest player in the world. With Shaiiko, seeing his moss files it was definitely an interesting. Back then looking at it, it doesn't shock me if he set up a macro from when he shot the pellets immediately start the action of hard breaching. I do believe something was involved but I also believe he was being a stupid kid and just did something stupid. Pengu and him are close friends now which is a pretty good way on ending that story.

Ran into a couple of teams recently using a XIM on the last day of Siege for ranked and my team and I were just planning to just mess around, and it wasn't even an Xbox player it was a bunch of PS players 😑 It's why I stay away from ranked altogether; I even turn off crossplay and stick to Standard...Rainbow Six Siege anti cheat is a real joke. Only way to really make sure players get banned is why taking screenshots as proof and post them on X and include Ubisoft usernames and tag Ubisoft in the post to get their attention....even that doesn't work anymore; it's like they don't give a shit anymore and just let it happen.
i recently got banned for cheating falsly and it was my og account over 9k hours spent in the game and i have no other account ive tried the ubi support and theres just nothing else i can do bassically 9 years of grinding all gone

Shaiiko was legit, his ban gets blamed on pengu. Pengu ultimately came out years later and said it’s possible he wasn’t cheating.

Botting = toxic ban means a clip was sent in of you intentionally team killing/ throwing ranked matches.
