I really appreciate these types of videos you are putting out. I believe the head game is so important that most push to the side. I will be sharing your channel with a group I trade with. So I will be trading with emotions just plowing through them. Great content. Broken down is easy to digest bits perfect and no reading involved woop woop.

Great video. There isn't much to say about mark's fenomenal work. It's by far my bread and bother. In my case I have dedicated a whole screen to one of his quotes : "the traders participating in this pattern are different then the traders participated in the previous one"
I keep on reminding myself this every time I go into a trade. It helps me mennag my expectations

The person narrating doesn’t understand what Mark is trying to say at 8:33 when Mark says “when we are wrong about something our body stores that energy.”
The oerson narrating says the statement may have something to do with self esteem. But hes wrong.
    Mark is actually correct here.
When we are wrong about something or something “bad” happens to us, those negative feelings are stored in our body and the next time we approach a similar situation our body remembers the negative feelings associated with the situation and we can start to relive those memories and the feelings come back as if the bad thing was happening to us again even if it’s not happening. Kinda like ptsd.
For example: if I have a bad night out with a particular person, it’s possible when I see the person again or go to the same place, the stored energy in my body will remember and it can cause someone to feel nausea, headache and other physical effects and emotions even if nothing bad is happening.
The narrator says this “can’t happen” and that it must be a “self esteem” thing but it’s not.
I’m just wondering why a young kid who has taken a few psychology courses is questioning and disagreeing a successful coach, pro trader and 3 time best selling author. Lol I found that funny.

    Hi!
I love your videos and their directness.
I have a question: you and Mark Douglas say you sometimes (I paraphrase) "process over earnings" or "you have your system..."
I am just starting out and start reading and listening about trading. And I find out that for very long term investments I know how to go about, but in day trading I have no fucking clue - I know that I know nothing.
In one video, you recommended to just start trading - great idea. How if I have no clue when to trade?
If I stick with Mark Douglas, I more or less can throw a coin to decide if at a certain I buy or sell and look around in the chart to see if I find some resistance lines for an stop-loss exit or winning exit.
But that would not be much more than playing roulette...
And if I understand you right, all the indicators are more or less useless. So, how to obtain "your trading system"?

Hi, good video again! I have read Mark Douglas' book and it is overall good. He talks a lot about negative energy in his book so it is questionable whether he really believes in "negative energy". If you skip the negative energy parts, the book is useful but there is little information compared to the size of the book.

    • @ImanTrading
      @ImanTrading  3 года назад

Thank you! Yeah lol, he has some great points, but the negative energy part is uh... well you know. I’ll just interpret it as metaphorical rather than literal, because it shouldn’t take away from some of his helpful points.

  • @ChaoticNeutralMatt
    @ChaoticNeutralMatt Год назад

He's talking about emotional baggage effectively. Emotional buildup, etc. It's real but not everyone experiences it the same way, or for the same thing. Personally I don't blame myself for things as nearly as bad as some others do themselves. There's utility in both, but both can go overboard on either end. And etc etc about the fascinating topic train that leads to.

Hey there :D. Honestly, not so good. I'm really motivated to grow my youtube channel, because I feel like I have a lot to give to traders in terms of psychology. I'm very busy with finals right now, and trying to focus on trading in my little room at college with my fiance just isn't realistic. There are so many distractions. When I'm not writing essays and doing projects, I feel like it would be a better use of my time to make these videos rather than practice trading. Once I'm out of college after my next semester, which is an internship, I am going to go all in on learning and getting as much screen time on the charts as possible. It's just unrealistic for me and my personality to be able to effectively learn in this environment. I do have lots of notes, and I don't mean that I haven't been trying at all, but I just have to wait until I'm done with my internship to focus more on actual trading. Once I start though, those videos will either be going up on this channel, or I've been thinking about having a separate channel for the live trading. Just been thinking about it, since I think psychology vs live trading attracts a different audience, and I wouldn't want it to harm this channel. Sorry for writing so much, lol. I have lots of notes and have been thinking about turning it into a video as an update, so that will definitely be coming out soon. I hope your trading and your learning has been going better than mine :)

I look around, at people (leaving traders aside, not important)
They don't take into account the personal periods of good and bad times (which are unavoidable anyway)
And they take the position of: "if I want this now, it doesn't matter the period or state I am in, it will not affect the result"
Fatal mistake, or I can call it arrogance, if not simply ignorance
Then, they start to trade eventually 😁

    0:35 so, lemme ask...
If I make a good trade, maybe for the first time, maybe not...
And I calmly stand-up, leave the room, go outside and yell to the top of my lungs: YYYYEEEEESSSS!!!
Then I maybe use the restroom...
Then calmly sit back down for the next round....
    Is that acceptable behavior? 🤔
I've learned more about myself in these videos than I have over 50+ years...
    I'm so far behind 😢

if there is a connection between you doing X and an event happening which should be completly unrelated, that means you are God.
I honestly believe that this very common belief of wearing lucky socks or something is indeed a proof that we are God. I simply cant find any other explanation why people would think that. "Muh they are stuipid and I use fancy terms to label this behavior" is not an explanation.
