With all due respect, I personally think that not even those legends like Menuhin, Oistrakh or Heifetz could produce such sentimental tone and articulation. Many times their vibrato were speedy and eerie during that period.

that's a bad violin Eq. Love her perfomance! Hate da sound reinforcement!
The irony is that 'bad' violin is likely the most expensive violin in the entire world (yes, that includes Strads). You should never form an opinion on a violin's sound from one performance. There are so many factors that affects what you hear outside of the violin itself -- temperature, humidity, location, acoustics, recording equipment, and so on ...

Didn't they add too much reverb ??? That sounds toooo artificial !
It's possible they added reverb, but maybe not. I can't speak to the acoustics of The Wallis Centre, but they are in a concert hall.
I think there was an echo in the space.
