Snapdragon 888,888+ & 8 Gen 1 were manufactured in Samsung foundary/factory ,not in TSMC(Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation)factory. TSMC makes all Snapdragon SOCs for Qualcomm, just like Samsung makes its own Exynos chips/SOCs, and Tensor chips/SOCs of Google. For three years(888,888+, 8Gen 1) Qualcomm gave the contract to Samsung ,rather than TSMC. Problem with all the chips/SOCs made by Samsung(its own Exynos, Google Tensor, Snapdragon 888,888+, 8Gen 1)is that they all heat up very fast ,and also has some connectivity issues. Hence , there is a stark difference in SD 8Gen1 & 8+ Gen 1, because from 8+ Gen 1 onwards Qualcomm gave the contract back to TSMC. Isliye inn dono chips/SOCs mein 19-20 ka nahin, kafi antar hai.
