Feel the sadness but I can tell you are stronger than you give yourself credit. You deserve better but trust that you can give that to yourself the way you need to. Begin by going outside for a few minutes and allow the sun to you have your face (it helps) give yourself the grace you gave to so many. Take your time. Hold on. Joy really does come each new morning. I think you are awesome. You survived the worst of your days so far. Thank you for helping an aging elder. It can be sad and difficult but it is also a beautiful gift to help an elder transition w grace and the gift of your live. I’m doing the same w an aging elder who has dementia while going through such betrayal. It took months but now I see my own flaws, accept that I needed to honor myself better and I began to do so slowly. Months later I count it a blessing to help an elder and to decide to live my life so at ny old age I have memories of love and joy. You will overcome please don’t give up I velieve in you. 😊
