You're right it does waste time with some unnecessary chapters and there are some missed opportunities. I like it as a whole but in some ways it feels a little anticlimactic and a waste of potential.
@Duck0f Doom The politics are very annoying and I'm glad I'm not alone. These books needed a map drawn and put at the beginning of each like I've seen some books do, because I'm still lost on what was where and who ruled what, and who spied for what. Only Djistkra and Phillipa really mattered. I even read along with the text itself, but I could not retain all these places, their histories, their weak points AND notable characters... So many names of people and places are thrown out that it gets distracting, and overall adds little positive to the experience.
Yeah, even the Fringilla shagging description with the books etc really goes on and on. A lot of excessive description which adds nothing except annoyance.
TimeStamps for the start & end would allow listeners to skip. Is there anything that'll be missed by skipping the description (beyond who attacked whom)?
Im not sure i like the story telling device of the book being told, partly, from the point of view of a future dream reader. I get the last book, Ciri telling her story. Im not sure about the beginning, Ciri jumping to our world, being in Britain, meeting Sir Galahad from king Arthur's court. Interesting though. I kinda figured thats how the conjunction of the spheres worked. Our world being one of the worlds that crashed against the witchers world, leaving a portion of humans in the world of the Elves dwarves and halflings.

Better than that Netflix nightmare. The writers of that show should READ these books instead of just destroying a beautiful story.
The decision in the witcher 3 would have been more difficult if it had been between yen and frangilla, she does help Geralt a lot
3:46:18 Geralt and Frangilla read books in the library
Lmao
This is an awful scene lol
Ciri appearing in Arthurian legend is peak
Is this entire book these two dingbats trying to dream up the past? I’m dying here….
3rd chapter is alot better! if you could push through the first two XD
Thank you !
Is it just me or does this and the last book have a lot of pointless chapters.

I don't mind the chapters themselves necessarily, but some of them go on way too long 🤔
I’ve felt that with the past few books. Quite a bit of meandering & dredging through politics that aren’t interesting in the least.

This is the longest rape I've ever seen described and terrible justification I've ever had to endure
Omfg yes. This is really hitting an all time low...
I know it's horrible that I have to ask this, but which one?

It would help if you would put when a chapter starts, in which time frame.

Thanks so much for the upload :)
I love this series but sometimes it does come across very ‘female characters written by men’
Care to elaborate?
