Hi Alan you and especially Avner are some of the first like minded believers I come to know when I felt alone.

    Thanks Alan.
In considering the question of why most Israelis have only recently had their eyes opened to the threat posed by the surrounding hostile nations, as well as the predominantly secular worldview mentioned by Avner, perhaps another factor is a kind of spiritual dullness coupled with wishful thinking. I see the same thing in the West, even among many professing Christians. Fuel for prayer. Lord, awaken your people and open our eyes.

I am appreciating your videos on this topic and I want to add my 2 cents in support of what I am hearing. Hopefully, it will add a little more clarity. God has two different sets of rules when he is talking to two different kinds of audiences. As Christians, we are focused on what God requires of us as individuals and we are not to take vengeance for personal acts of evil against our own rights. We often do not see that God gives the government a sword for the purpose of enforcing justice and protecting its citizens. So the same act can be good or evil depending on the heart of the sinner. There are warriors who have become haters of the enemy. This is wrong. Then, there are those who are doing a job they take no pleasure in, and they are righteous. Taking life should not be done for personal satisfaction but as a warrior or executioner, it is demanded by God. It is a mistake to apply personal responsibility in a way that limits God from instructing governments. There ought to be no condemnation of Israel for this and to put pressure on them not to finish is a horrendous evil. God bless.
